tommy approaches her hesitantly, eyebrows raised slowly. since her secret came out, he’s been feeling a little conflicted about their relationship. but then again, he’s also the same person who branded her in order to keep her alive-- and.. to keep his own secret from coming out. ‘’ spenc.. you got time to talk ?? i’ll buy lunch.’’

The sound of innocent and not-so-innocent filling the hotel halls with chaos was music to her ears, dark crimson lips etched with a permanent smirk as she slipped out her room in search of entertainment. She took advantage, eventually finding him in the black of the halls, the familiarity of his voice, and person impossible for Emma to miss as she slid up behind Tommy, hand confidently resting on his hip, body pressing against his back, lips pressed against just below his ear. “Miss me?” the words echoed against the four walls, despite how quiet of a sultry whisper it was.
tommy’s dark eyes had scanned around the area around him at first, till the familiar voice snapped him out of his daze. he stood there tense as he felt her body against his back, looking over his shoulder at her. ‘’ you wish i did.’’ he said calmly, shrugging. ‘he turns his attention forward again, looking around. ‘’ what do you want, em ?? ‘’

she remains quiet eyes glued to a spot on the carpet that held more interest than anything else in the dim room as she’s helped with the searing reminder of her recklessness. it should’ve surprised her but it didn’t when the name erin spilled, nothing would surprise her anymore and she could laugh at that notion. WHATCA’ GON’ DO WHEN THAT SNAKE STRIKES ?? she doesn’t want to say she can’t trust ANYONE but that’s what it boiled down to, right..? it still hurt to have it rubbed in that she had lie but she didn’t know how to properly show that other than remain looking at the carpet rather than him like some stubborn child. “some people just need to have some secrets just for themselves.” the words sounded off to her own ears. he deserved a better explanation than the weak one she’d offered up.
‘’ hey.. can you stop hiding and look at me ?? ‘’ with a tilt of his head, he stares at her with a curious look-- an eyebrow raised slowly. tommy moves his fingers to hook around her chin, bringing her gaze up to meet his. ‘’ i thought you would’ve trusted me. i mean, you found out one of the worst sides to myself i was hellbent on keeping from you..’’ tommy murmured, fingers running along her jaw slowly. ‘’ -- honestly.. i’m-- ‘’ he stands up and moves away from her, hand running along his face.

there’s a brief look of concern that washes across his features as he looks at her.. honestly, tommy can’t even believe that after what he did-- she’d come to him. but the concern is replaced by anger as he’s helping her take care of the brand ( that he so put on her..) and it’s a few minutes of silence before he speaks. ‘’ why’d you lie to me, erin ?? ‘’ suddenly he’s looking up at her, slowly removing his glasses. ‘’ why ? i wouldn’t have judged you either way. you see how fucked up i am, and you-- you didn’t.. judge. i’m just some guy with snake fangs, who’s.. lucky enough to have you. but-- but why ?? ‘’

slipping on his jacket, and adjusting his glasses-- tommy had been on his way out to meet up with an old friend from his time in mexico. though the buzzing of his phone had made him pause momentarily, he had slid his phone open thinking it was a text from spenc.. boy was he dead wrong. dark hues scanned over the text with a look of confusion. the confusion quickly faded, as it was replaced with anger instantly as his eyes read over the words ‘she’s a fucking federal agent that’s been playing you the whole time, you stupid fuck.’. clenching the phone tighter in his grip, he can see the screen shatter. with a disgruntled yell, he whips his phone into the wall and suddenly-- there’s a cold look in place. A wants to see a snake strike ?? there will be hell to pay. and this snake, will deliver on that.

remaining quiet she watches him chewing on her lower lip. fiddling with the cap of the bottle it doesn’t take her long to find an answer with a shake of her head and small smile, “ you don’t need to apologize. more so since you don’t even know what you’re apologizing for…. give me your hand. ” she said holding out her own for him.
though he’s quick to bring his gaze up to hers, he’s still for a couple of minutes as he stares at her. tommy slowly inches his hand forward to take hers, shrugging. ‘’ i mean, i do have alot to be sorry for.. i just want you to know that.. i love you, and i’m sorry for being slightly fucked up.’’

she found herself smiling and reaching out for the bottle of water being offered to her.“ thanks. ” she said closing her laptop, moving her laptop to the free space on her other side. she leaned her head against his shoulder for a moment before moving away. that’s probably not the smartest thing to do. unscrewing the lid she took a small sip from it. “ gang related stuff. nothing exciting. what have you been up to sir? hopefully not causing trouble. ”
he almost winces at the mention of causing trouble, avoiding her gaze. tommy shifts nervously and lets out a laugh. ‘’ i had my fair share during the purge, trust me.’’ his tone is void, staring down at his hands. ‘’ i’m.. sorry.. for just-- being.. i dunno.’’
click. click. click. save for the chatter that would drift from further down the hall her typing away on the keyboard was all that broke the silence she found herself in. sitting out in the hall felt better than sitting in the hotel room. she shifted in her seat and let out an over exasperated sigh and rubbed her temples.
looking down at he, he extends a hand out with a bottle of water in his hand. ‘’ i got you something. figured you.. could use it, you know ?? ‘’ he muttered, sitting down beside her. ‘’whatcha’ workin’ on ?? ‘’

“and why’s that, my sweet, sweet tommy, not a fan of the kitty ears?” the brunette teased, taking advantage of his hand covering hers as she intertwined their fingers, tongue gliding along her bottom lip as she become more and more amused by the other trying to fight the urge. “..if you want, this can be our little secret..” crimson lips uttered, curving into a sultry smirk as she leaned forward, brushing her lips against his bare cheek, nearing closer and closer to the corner of his mouth.
it’d be easy. so easy. his mind started to drift back to their time in mexico, and as her lips neared his mouth-- he finally snapped back to reality and took a few steps back from her. ‘’ no. i told you, i’m done with the whole killing shit. that’s not me now.’’ he’s moved on from her. tommy’s settled down with spencer, and everything feels right. but why can’t he stop the urge to kill ?? sharp eyes never leave hers as his head tilts, watching her carefully. ‘’ kitty ears are nice.’’

there’s a moment when he’s completely drawn in by her presence, and he finally snaps himself out of it. ‘’ don’t. touch. me. ‘’ tommy says slowly, moving to grab the hand on his face.

any normal person would’ve flinched, though time had proven again and again that emma was FAR from normal. the smirk on her lips only growing as she felt his fingers latching onto her throat, gaze flickering away from the road and to tommy. “ someone has a death wish, or better yet, an UNFORGIVABLE desire, we both know you’re only capable of one thing here, tommy and that’s either to kill me or KISS me. ” she encouraged, braking the car and pulling over, leaning into his grip as her own hand fell to his lap, nails gripping onto his thigh. “ two can play this game, you know? ”
‘’ honey, i’m already dead. ‘’ the look in his eyes is cold as he glares at her, immediately falling silent. eyes darted to the hand on his thigh, then moved to meet her gaze. the hand tommy had on her throat tightened, his urge to kill something coming back. but for some ungodly reason, he can’t find it in himself to kill her. with a frustrated sigh, he releases her throat and moves to get out of the car-- slamming the door shut. down the street from them, there’s a victim he.. didn’t exactly pick out and he figured why the fuck not ?? a tommy runs up as if he’s signaling for help. when the victim least expects it, tommy pins him to the ground and rips into his neck immediately.

“ Lies. You didn’t see your face moments ago when you were taking the life of your poor, innocent victim, now dead. Who’s to say she didn’t have a family? Children? You’re no better than me, worse even, you can’t accept the fact that you’re a MONSTER and always will be one. ” the raven haired girl taunted, eyes filling with amusement as she heard his fury raise, echoing through the car. “ And you think you’re capable of that? ” halting to a stop, evil snicker filling the car as she held up a fistful of bullets. “I taught you EVERYTHING you know.”
there’s a moment of silence from hhim, because she is right. he’s learned everything from her-- but he’s picked up quite a few tricks from the roses. turning to look at her with eyebrows raised, he leans over-- a hand going up to her throat. ‘’ you know how easy it would be for me, to just sink my teeth into your pretty little neck and rip.. you.. to shreds.’’ he whispered, thumb running along an artery. ‘’ stop the car-- now. ‘’

“WHAT CAN I SAY? i’m some kind of different.” the corners of her lips turned up slightly before she was nodding her head yeah coming out as a squeak. she couldn’t stop smiling, “well that’s good to hear.” twisting excitement in her stomach made it difficult to pull words out of vocabulary. a frown taking a place on her face, she let go of one of his hands and turned his face back towards her. “stop that. please? – one of these days i’ll tell you something that"ll make you rethink that. now how about we get of the street, get you cleaned up, and stay out of any further trouble..?”
tommy is silent as his eyes land on hers once more, leaning his head against hers. ‘’ what you have to tell me would never make me change my view on you. i love you spencer.. you’re special.’’ tommy murmurs, bumping his head lightly against hers in a kind-hearted gesture. ‘’that.. that uh-- sounds like a good plan.’’

“ You say that as though it really bothers you, though I’m ALMOST convinced you thoroughly enjoy my presence, even now as you’re trying everything in your power to convince yourself otherwise.” fingers curled around the handle of her blade, blood decorating the sharp edges as she flashed it against the moonlit in admiration. “And yet, earlier this week, you said never again, so somehow I doubt the urges are AGAIN suppressed, take advantage of this villainous night and pick A FINAL VICTIM.”
‘’ i ENJOYED YOUR PRESENCE in mexico. that was the only time i ever enjoyed anything about you. now i just tolerate you. ‘’ after her telling him to pick a final victim, he loses it. slamming his fists down onto the dashboard, he looks to her immediately. ‘’ want me to pick a final victim ?? stop the car. it’s YOU. you’re MY FINAL VICTIM.’’

HER HEART WAS BREAKING and she was stuck where she was listening to him her lips in a tight line and her brows furrowed as she tried to grasp at a single proper idea. “is that what you were thinking or possibly hoping i’d say? maybe thought i’d run too.” she started the words rolling out of their own accord. “it’s… it is what it is. i really don’t know what to say… everyone’s fucked up though. in their own personal hell kind of way. everyone’s got a secret or SOMETHING.” her feet were moving again and she grabbed his hands not really minding the blood, it could be washed away. “i do. – you wanna hear something you might find possibly fucked up from me..? i love you, tommy.”
‘’ honestly, all people ever did was run from me. you were the first one who didn’t. ‘’ he murmurs keeping his head down. when she grabbed his hands, tommy brought his head up with a curious glance-- immediately turning into shock. ‘’ you.. you love me ?? ‘’ tommy stutters, looking at her in awe. ‘’.. this.. this might be the best news i’ve ever heard, because.. i love.. i love you too.’’ tommy grins slightly before averting his eyes. ‘’ i’m sorry i’m such a fuck up.’’

“YOU AREN’T GETTING RID OF ME. so just STOP. okay..?” she only hoped her voice didn’t give away the turmoil. he wouldn’t hurt her, she trusted he wouldn’t at least. her lips pursed she listened, her head was an absolute no longer knew how to function and shift through things MESS. shoving the gun into her back pocket she took another handful of steps towards him out of instinct. she reached out for him but let her hand fall to her side. “y–you…. i….” she had trouble stringing her words together for a proper sentence. “it’s going to be alright. don’t apologize.”
instantly he becomes quiet when hearing her talk, looking up at her. tommy wipes the blood from his mouth, only shaking his head in response. ‘’ i’m-- it’s.. it shouldn’t be alright, with what you just saw. i should’ve told you about this, i should’ve told you how-- how i’m this fucked up human being who has SNAKE FANGS and.. and my god spencer, i’m just sorry for treating you like crap. i’m sorry for all of it.’’ he says, trying not to cry. bringing his hands up to his head, he tugs at his hair almost wanting to yank it out. ‘’ please.. please just.. forgive me.’’
