Tomorrow's Eyes

To dare say that I'll miss all this, when I'm gone.

Fresh intro, for some fresh activity.

I'm writing this late at night, and I might touch it up later, if I think it doesn't suffice. It probably will. I am Tomorrow's Eyes. I am somewhat religious, in my own way. My alias chosen is... Partially relative to that, but I have other reasons for this name. As for why I'm here: photography. And, this world is... Well, it is. And I love it. The clouds, my main focus in this place, and in general, really. One can describe them as many things. Too many I've thought of to put here, in truth. I present comfortably as a man, as I've discovered, and prefer He/Him. All the best to those who know themselves better than I had, in my prior preference for pronoun. Anyhow. I am here to post pictures. Express a portion of myself I wish to. And to hold to the memory of this world I adore, as I myself struggle to. Memory issues, simply put. They are one of the big reasons why I am here - you can ask for more details, if you'd like. The other big reasons are, simply, I love clouds and photography. (Why is a portion of the text inexplicably bold?? I can't even get rid of it.)

It is fascinating to me. This is the 2,276th file on my camera. I say "file" and not "photo" because video recordings are tracked under the same tally — anywho. I did not realize it, how many I'd taken. I don't take many very often, so seeing that number is... Strange. Almost wholesome. As if it amounted to something, to hold me to where I was, to prove I was there. It's all a lot of clouds, along with sparse family photos of fun little times. Almost solely in snow, too. My roots have held, it'd seem. But that is beside my point. It's a comforting feeling to realize that I was there, despite that I no longer can be, even through memory. Forever onward, only glances back — except for this — this small device, wielding years of moments of myself.

Some time ago, I smelled something familiar that I couldn't place for the life of me. I don't remember the smell, what it was from, nor why it was so familiar, just that I wrote down that I'd smelled something I couldn't remember anymore. It's an uncomfortable feeling. Nostalgic, as any other, but uncomfortable. I'd wonder if anyone else too has such memory issues as I do, but I prefer to hope not.

I've lately felt a need to feel. I forget how to care for my emotions when they first arrive, and leave them as they are without giving understanding, not knowing I've done so until I crack. I almost wonder if anyone else knows the feeling. Surely, there are at least a few that do.

Hello again. It has been... Uncomfortably long, as per usual. Little to say of this one - it is quite pleasant though. I love the flare sort of thing going on with it, how the camera reflects back onto the lens.

This is outdated, keeping it for archival purposes. I suppose I've ought to use this information. Hello. I am Tomorrow's Eyes. Pronouns seem to be somewhat of importance around here, so I'll settle for It/Its. I am here to post photos. Art and photography are sincerely wonderful things, and you are likely to find me wherever they may be. I also find interest in coding, but here I stick to photography and art. I aim to keep life some distance from what I do here, and how I present photos has and will continue to reflect that, as much as I can manage. I hope you can enjoy my little space here.

Been tired recently, forgetting to upload photos. Here's two particularly ominous ones I have. - Unedited, no edited counterparts.

This one had a very particular look to it. Edited, as I decided to lean into the feeling a bit more. Little else to say. On other news, I've decided that for certain posts I will post both the original and edited photos. I've also decided concretely to cease posting to Twitter(X). Posts will be on bluesky and tumblr, tumblr being the most common location.

Ah, kept losing track of my time! Fickle thing, time is, isn't it? I did continue to take photos, though, so the supply of photos won't go dry any time soon. This one is edited, though I don't recall anything about the day. Likely that I just saw the clouds looking as such and got some photos. Considering posting both the edited and original, unedited photos at once - will update on my decision next time I post.

Ahem. It has been a moment. Lost some motivation for a time. I have quite the backlog of photos as of now. This is one of those photos. Unedited, though it looks a tad... Odd, in some spots. Very eager to post some of the photos I've taken in the time I was gone. There are quite a few good ones.

I realize I will be rather busy, too much so to be able to take photos much, so I'm going to start posting the older photos that have seen X first. Before I'd taken this one, the sunset had looked spectacular, but I wasn't able to get my camera fast enough to get a photo of it. Very pleased with the photo I had managed to take, though.
