Hey guys! I'm TonyArts05 and I'm behind a fan series I've been working on known as The Owl House: Cosmos Saga.

What is The Owl House: Cosmos Saga? Well it's a series that will be told through various fanfiction. The series takes place right after the events of the series finale, it picks up on the unused Archivist storyline. It follows Luz Noceda, King Clawthorne, and The Collector going beyond the Demon Realm and into a new realm known as The Realm of Cosmic Space. As they'll work together to stop The Archivists from assembling nine artifacts known as The Star Pieces. Which when brought together, form a powerful artifact that is able to change existence itself. At its heart, The Owl House: Cosmos Saga is a story about holding on to hope, honoring the past, and choosing who you want to become. Through epic battles, heartfelt moments, and mysteries that carries forward the spirit of The Owl House while venturing into bold new territory.

I'm planning on releasing thirteen fanfictions that will help carry the overall planned storyline (Seven standalone but interconnected stories, a three part event, and a two part event to conclude the story as a whole). So far only four stories have been released! [The Owl House: Into the Cosmos, Within The Cosmos, The Wandering Nest, and Peace Between Worlds].

So now that I FINALLY got BSS Chapter 45 out and 46 nearly done awaiting final edits, I am working on something for Huntlow week.

Tbh, when I saw the prompt 'childhood' , this was the immediate idea since they have their similarities of being potrayed a "Half-a-witch" during their younger days but in a different context.

Day 2 - Horror movies/ Seasons

Hunter didn’t think they should have come here. He really REALLY didn’t. Yet here he was. Willow had dragged him to the………creepy part of town. The part where it seemed the wind blew differently, lights flickered constantly, and there was trouble at every corner. Reluctantly, Hunter kept behind Willow. Hands in his pockets. Alert. Just in case. Willow turned to face him. “Are you going to keep lurking or keep up?” she asked playfully, putting her hands on her hips. Hunter stayed quiet. Willow groaned softly, and grabbed Hunter by the wrist. “We just need to grab some stuff for Eda,” Willow said, dragging him along, “It’ll be fine!” Hunter’s boots crunched against the fallen leaves. Oh, it was SO not fine. They reached the stand in the next few minutes, grabbing some elixir ingredients and Spirit Wards – per Hunter’s request. They were making their way back when Hunter heard a noise. A branch splitting, like a person had just walked on it. Hunter perked up, ears twitching. “Did you hear that?” he asked. “Hear what,” Willow answered, perplexed. Hunter’s hair stood on end but he waved it off. He was just being paranoid. Wasn’t he? The air chilled like someone….had passed just behind him. “Willow?” She turned slowly, unaware that this was dangerous. They were in danger. “You ok?” she asked. “I felt something…behind me.” Willow walked up and looked around. She grinned and pointed into an alleyway. “Just a fluttercat. Nothing to worry about, hon!” Right. Nothing to worry about. If that was the case, why – just why – was the spirit ward glowing lightly in his hand. He kept walking behind Willow, now closer than before. Still suspicious. Something was wrong. Something deep in his gut told him that. But his gut had been wrong before. He had worked for Belos for so long without knowing he was on the wrong side. Without knowing that HE was the villain. Something crackled. Hunter perked up once again. And so did Willow beside him. “I’m guessing that I’m not the only one who heard that?” Willow gulped. But she nodded. He stood in front of her. A shield. For an attack he knew was to come. He knew she didn’t need it, but it would hurt if she didn’t make it out safe. Two people dropped down from the rooftops, and his blood chilled. He’d known these people back in the covens, and he knew…………they didn’t hesitate once they wanted something.

Thinking about Belos.

The old man of all time. He's a 400 year old, clearly evil and manipulative asshole that serves gender like it's nobody's business. The character that's the most like him is a 14 year old neurodivergent girl. He's a left handed puritan.

The story would not have happened if it wasn't for brother issuesTM.

Well, yeah. That's all fun and why I cosplayed belos at a con recently.

But what I'm really thinking about is in the realm of speculation.

I think the big thing that separated Belos, Philip, from his brother is that Caleb must have seen the error of his ways.

Caleb must have realized the truth of being a witch hunter. Those people were innocent of witchcraft and tortured/killed for nothing. He did that with his own hands. Even genuine witches aren't evil.

It makes utter and complete sense that he would run, we have background details that say something happened (a building on fire?) before he ultimately left.

Philip was probably an adult then, if not by today's standards, then by back then standards.

Philip came to the boiling isles and eventually found his brother. He got hugged and welcomed, they could have talked, thing could have gotten well - except they could have never gone well.

For this to go well, Philip would have to admit that he and the believes he's been raised with are wrong.

That is the thing that separates them in my mind, Caleb saw he was wrong and acted on it. Philip can never admit he's wrong.
