To understand the whole, it is necessary to understand the parts. To understand the parts, it is necessary to understand the whole. Such is the circle of understanding. We move from part to whole and back again, and in that dance of comprehension, in that amazing circle of understanding, we come alive to meaning, to value, and to vision: the very circle of understanding guides our way, weaving together the pieces, healing the fractures, mending the torn and tortured fragments, lighting the way aheadâthis extraordinary movement from part to whole and back again, with healing the hallmark of each and every step, and grace the tender reward.

When Feild Craddock decided to redesign the toothbrush, he had a target audience in mind. The resulting product, however, could easily find a place in the home of many more. âSqueeze is the result of a 2 week project addressing the dental needs of those above age 70. GUYS YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW WONDERFUL THIS ISÂ
Parkinsonâs is a degenerative disease and while itâs progress can be slowed down, it currently doesnât have a cure. People suffering from Parkinsonâs will experience a gradual loss of coordination and ability to perform even the most basic of every day tasks, including feeding themselves.Â
This spoon is HUGEfor them. Look at that gif of the man just trying to eat with the regular spoon and compare it to the liftware device. Itâs NOT just a spoon, by the way, it comes with a fork as well, for example.Â
I found the website for the project where you can purchase a spoon for someone you know/love and even possibly donate money to help someone out who canât afford it themselves right: HERE.
At the very least, please spread this for all the people who have Parkinsonâs or loved ones with Parkinsonâs.Â
Youâll help them take part of their life back.Â
thatâs cool
PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TAKING OUT THE ABOVE INFORMATION AND JUST REBLOGGING THE PICTURE. Â IF YOU CAN REBLOG THE PICTURE, YOU CAN REBLOG THE LINK TO ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE. Â THANKS.
Can never pass this up without reblogging it.
The product is always in service of people, not the other way around. Itâs easyâso very, very easyâto fall prey to a company-minded mentality of the world, where everything revolves around the builders and what theyâre building rather than the customers.

When Hoyoung Leeâs concept printer becomes reality, youâll never throw away another pencil stub and never buy another ink cartridge. The pencil printer separates the wood from pencils and uses the lead to print documents. Thereâs even a built-in eraser component that allows you to remove text from a page and reuse the paper. New self-filling water bottle harvests drinking water from the air
A new self-filling water bottle has been invented that can not only serve as a nifty device for long bike tours and races, but could also offer a new method of fresh water collection in parts of the world where groundwater sources are hard to come by.
Developed by industrial designer Kristof Retezar from Austriaâs University of Applied Arts, the new device - called the âFontusâ - works best in humid weather, which allows it to condense the moisture in the air into safe, fresh drinking water. Experiments have shown that under the right weather conditions, it can produce 0.5 Litres of water in just under an hour.
"My goal was to create a small, compact and self-sufficient device able to absorb humid air, separate water molecules from air molecules and store water in liquid form in a bottle,â says Retezar at the James Dyson Award website.
Retezar says he was inspired to invent the device as something that could be beneficial to some of the 2 billion people in more than 40 countries that live in regions where clean and safe sources of water are scarce. According to the UN, by the year 2030, 47 percent of our global population will be living in areas of high water stress. So he decided to take a 2,000-year-old technology - ancient civilisations from Asia and Central America were some of the first to employ it - that taps into some of the 13,000 kilometres cubed of fresh water held in the Earthâs atmosphere.Â

This is glorious and even thought it doesnât fit in the range of all the paranormal, I MUST share
It works like this: You tell Kitestring that youâre in a dangerous place or situation, and give it a time frame of when to check in on you. If you donât reply back when it checks your status, itâll alert your emergency contacts with a custom message you set up.
It doesnât require you to touch anything (like bSafe) or shake your phone (like Nirbhaya) to send the distress signal. Kitestring is smarter, because it doesnât need an action to alert people, it needs inaction.

reblogging because this is seriously amazing.
As they work more closely with our mobile computers, devices that once simply fixed whatever ailed us will begin to do much more.
Itâs only a slight exaggeration to say that the latest crop of advanced hearing aids are better than the ears most of us were born with. The devices can stream phone calls and music directly to your ears from your phone. They can tailor their acoustic systems to your location; when the phone detects that you have entered your favorite sports bar, it adjusts the hearing aids to that environment.
