She smiled back. “Well, I’d like to believe everyone has good in them, that’s a start I guess.” She shrugged and looked down. “I guess with the world the way it is, you have to search harder and appreciate the good it has to offer. If you focus too much on the bad, then you’ll never get anywhere.”

He nodded grimly. "Well when you go through things like I have, it's hard to see good anymore." He said solemnly. "Anyway, you better be getting to class and I have a debriefing to go to." He stood up. "Just... be careful, okay? Don't get into any trouble while you're here."

"I’m covered in what looks like soot and to be perfectly honest, I’m not even sure how that happened."

"Okay... and, uh, I don't think that's soot. Smells worse... like charred human flesh."

"And that’s exactly why I’d toss him oout the window. No loss no foul." He explained. "Guy’s an idiot. I dunno what Natasha was thinking when she gave him that position."

"Be nice Tony, he’s not so bad. I get along with him pretty well." She gently poked his side and puffed out her lower lip. "We we all can be super genius’ like you. He’s not stupid though. He’s just different, a good different though."

He smiled at her, "You always see the good in people, Kitty." He sighed. "I don't know how you do it in a world like this but you manage to make things seem like they're going to be okay. Y'know that, kid?"

Kitty blinked and bit her lip. “Oh come on Wade isn’t all bad, he lets me color in his office and gives me chocolate. A little odd they made him the counselor, but he listens pretty well. You know he’d just heal again right?” She giggled softly.

"And that's exactly why I'd toss him oout the window. No loss no foul." He explained. "Guy's an idiot. I dunno what Natasha was thinking when she gave him that position."

Tony gasped. “Hey! Pretty? I’m fucking handsome. I’m a man.” He protested. He took another swig of his liquor and then looked curiously at the girl. “How’d you get in here, anyway? This is a restricted access room.”

Kitty laughed, throwing her head back in glee. “Okay, okay. Handsome. You manly man.” She watched him for a moment— looking at her toes as she shrugged. “How do you think? I just missed you is all— You wont tell Miss Natasha will you?”

Tony smiled sweetly at her. "Course not, you're cool. It's not like you're wade Wilson. If he broke in here I'd have no choice but to toss his ass out a window."

She smirked, shrugging her shoulders slightly. “It’s okay, you’ve got a lot on your mind,” smiling up to him she let out a little laugh. “Well you let me play with your toys. You’re care about me and don’t find me annoying. You listen to awesome music— and out of all the super hero’s here. You’re the prettiest.” She giggled softly and nudged her shoulder against his looking up to him.

Tony gasped. "Hey! Pretty? I'm fucking handsome. I'm a man." He protested. He took another swig of his liquor and then looked curiously at the girl. "How'd you get in here, anyway? This is a restricted access room."

He looked down at his glass. "Sorry..." He apologized, "I'm just a little edgy..." He admitted. "And why on earth an I your favorite guy? Out of all the superheroes here, you choose me?" He questioned with a smirk.

Tony took another sip from his glass as he stared off into space, sighing. He knows he promised not to drink anymore, but he was dying, so there was no point anyway. He heard footsteps and let his head drop to the back of the couch. “What?” He said.

Molly was sneaking out of her lesson that afternoon. She was trying to find a good place to hide and when she walked into the room and heard his voice, she jumped slightly. “Shoot…uh…hi.”

Tony turned around and looked over the girl. "Running from class?" He smirked, knowing most students here didn't exactly enjoy their lessons.

Tony spun around and stared at the soldier. "Woah... Calm down man, I'm sure he's just busy with typical super soldier stuff." Tony assured the man. "I can help you find him?" Tony offered.

Tony smiled and looked up at James, happy to help him and to work on this beautiful piece of machinery at the same time. "Well, an old friend of mine," Tony thought back to Yinsen and his sacrifice in the caves. "He helped me with the basic design of the original suit, and from there I worked and improved on it. They're my pride and joy." He grinned.
