I miss this blog, the writing was fantastic, I really enjoyed that it had male readers in mind
I'm truly sorry. When I wrote those stories I had immersed myself fully into writing for myself and wanting to read things that I couldn't find but also wanting to do it for others.
Lately with work and trying to "adult" for lack of betting phrasing, I've been focusing more on drawing or putting things together physically.
I really do want to write more but when I've started stories as of late, I don't always have the full layout in mind and it feels half assed which isn't what I want to put out there.
If and when I do feel like what I've written is what I'm comfortable putting out, I hope its still too your liking.
hmmm, for that one ask thingy, I think you're somewhat of an urban coffee shop ? nice, warm and homey, though still small for now (that makes it even better tho!)
Hi Iâm so sorry IÂ havenât been on Tumblr in a while and not quite sure which ask youâre referring to though I do love the idea of a homey coffee shop. Too many nowadays are all professional business looking and donât give much room for the relaxation vibe.
Hey guys, I just wanted to say something about my last post even if some people donât think its a big deal.Â
I want to say sorry for the GIF I used for my last imagine story. I should have used a more diverse set to represent the male reader instead of just putting someone who has a similar skin tone to myself. I was putting myself into the story when I should have made it open for all because thats what I want. I want everyone to be able to imagine themselves as part of the story and be valid.
Imagine: You feeling like people take you for granted yet still wanting to be generous in helping your friends. Robbie notices and you two share a one on one.
The feeling of neglect weighed heavily on you. Whether it be when the space joining your neck and shoulders ached, your cheeks seemed to sag and your eyebrows felt like they were pushing themselves down, even when you felt a grasp around your ribcage, as if someone was hugging you from behind while prying your chest open from the front. Sometimes it would feel the opposite. Like your ribcage would fold in on itself as if you were wearing a corset. It wasnât fun yet you felt it was a necessary evil. You were a listener.Â
You hardly ever felt the need to speak up for what you identified as trivial unless it was for your friends. Quite hypocritical but that was how you worked. To your friends, all throughout your school years and into your adult life, you were the designated therapist of the group. When they had something to say, they could go on for hours if they so pleased. Sometimes they would even act as if you owe them a listening session when you were unavailable. It got on your nerves yet you didnât want to cause conflict. You were very aware of the one-sided relationships you had and knew if you were to bring it up, they would most likely feel attacked.Â
This is why you kept to yourself a lot. Not that you closed yourself off or anything but didnât completely go out of your way to see your friends like you used to. You couldnât help but feel tired though. You were one of those people who thought too deep into things and it usually spent the energy you needed to get through the day.Â
Right now you were walking home from your job. Today had been fairly active, what with one of your friends coming in to your workplace to talk about this boy sheâd been dating for months. As much as you liked being the listener to her problems, was there literally nothing else she could talk about? Youâd met the guy and he seemed alright but now she just kept talking about missing him after a day apart. Also it didnât help that she once outed you without your permission by loudly claiming you were her gay best friend.Â
You were still waiting for that apology.Â
That aside, you were able to listen and now you were home free. The keys jingled as you twisted them in the lock. The house was empty when you walked in. No Robbie or Gabe which dampened your mood a bit more since they were people you had absolutely no problem listening to. You decided to busy yourself and bake to pass the time.Â
You spent your time mixing flower, milk, eggs, and other ingredients including broken up chocolate bars into a boll to make the mix for a batch of cookies. After carefully laying them out on the tray, you placed them in the oven to bake. Just as you were setting the timer, you nearly jumped out of your skin when you felt a pair of leather clad arms find their way around your waist. While you emerged yourself in producing the treats, youâd become oblivious to Robbie and Gabe entering the home.Â
Both seeing you completely immersed in baking that you hadnât noticed them walk in. Robbie content in just watching you. Loving the sight of you focused on something you enjoyed without a worry to anything else, different from how he saw you throughout the day whenever he came to check or when you dropped by the shop to make sure he was ok with the stress you knew he went through. Gabe smiled at the both of you, enjoying the view of something somewhat domestic, something he hadnât really considered would happen but then again, he hadnât really expected Robbie to find a guy as caring and accepting as you for a boyfriend. Then again, Robbie would of course find someone who heâd be expected to protect. Thing was thats exactly what you did instead. Guiding him through stressful situations to which Gabe was grateful. He caught Robbieâs attention by cocking his head in the direction of his room, signalling heâd leave them be.
Robbie nodded his head in thanks. After his brother rolled off to his room somehow going unnoticed by you still, The mechanic snuck up behind you as you were closing the door to the oven. He grinned when you jumped at his touch. Happy that you felt safe enough to not have noticed his arrival. You reached your arms around his to return the hug âHey, sorry I didnât hear you come inâ. The feeling of his stubble on your neck accompanied by his lips caused warmth to spread through you, having you revel in his touch.Â
He smirked at your apology, knowing it was one of your habits. "I didn't want to stop you while you were at it". Placing a kiss at the nape of your neck, he paused when he felt the stiffness under the skin. "Mi Amore," he gave you a concerned look, lightly rubbing his hand between your shoulder and neck "you're all tense".
You almost didn't hear him. The pressure and friction his hand made with your muscles pulled you into a little world of your own, like you were in a soothing wirlpool that threatened to swallow you whole. Melding with it without a care in the world. The feeling almost made you moan.Â
Robbie's concern mixed with a smile as he felt you leaning into his touch. âY/N?â.
âOh!â You startled out of your mini trance, you seemed to be doing that a lot âSorry, just been a bit busy at work and stuffâ. Your dismissive response earned a frown from your boyfriend.Â
âWhat stuff? Like friends?â Yeah Robbie knew about your friends and your listening habits, another reason why he loved you yet one of the reasons he worried. Sneaking his hand back around your waist, he hooked his chin on the nape of your neck where heâd been pressing. âWhat happened?â.
You sighed, feeling him against you always got you into a calmer state. âNothing much, just some talk, honestly its nothingâ. At that you heard him give a growl of sorts, not of anger, you knew that but a mixture of concern and frustration. You were prone to neglecting your own feelings for the sake of others.Â
âY/Nâ he growled out, squeezing you closer to him âyou canât just say its nothing when it takes a toll on youâ.Â
He checked the timer on the oven and saw that it had another 18 minutes to go. âCome onâ he said pulling you with him out of the kitchen and guided you to your shared bedroom. You sat on the bed with your legs crossed waiting as he went to ask Gabe to handle the cookies before walking back into the room and seating himself on the bed across from you.Â
âNowâ he said looking you dead in the eyes as a method of letting you know he wanted you to speak âwhat happened?â.
You didnât feel like you could brush this off like usual so you decided youâd at least give some detail. âI guess Iâm just tiredâ you stated which he nodded at.Â
âTired of what?â.Â
âTired of feeling like I work two jobs instead of one, like every time I go to work. I just want to do that, workâ you sighed.Â
Robbie gave you a look of sympathy as you had done for him plenty of times when he vented which prompted you to go on. âBut even then, people keep coming to me and saying things at me which yeah Iâm happy to help but I also have a job to do. Then with my friends I feel like Iâm just there trying to figure out what to say in response to what theyâre saying but its so dull! Like how many times do I have to hear jasmine talk about her fucking boyfriend? Like I want to tell her that if she considers breaking up with him so much then she should shut up and do it but then sheâll get depressed and whine about missing him for a year until someone else shows up!â. You realised your voice had risen to the point where you were sure Gabe could hear you from the other room. Your posture had straightened up making you seem taller than before and your face had done its natural brows down murder look. All the while youâd begun to look down at the bedsheets as if you were speaking to them instead of Robbie.
Looking up, you saw Robbieâs face in a state of silent surprise and sympathy. You hate how you lost your temper and caused that look. You hated seeing when someone had a look of shock or disgust and it was aimed at you. To you it always meant that you had failed their expectations and that you werenât worth their time anymore.Â
âSorryâ
âWait what?â Robbie didnât know what you were apologising for. He new it was one of your habits but he got why you would be frustrated. He reached over and rubbed a hand on your bicep âyouâre allowed to be frustrated and I would be too if someone went on about the same thing over and over againâ.
He was always so sweet to you but you still felt guilty for the outburst. âYeah, I just feel like all I do is listen and they donât really listen back and when they do they keep getting it back to them.â
You realised how light you felt after saying all that, all the stress leaving your body. You realised it had been a while since you felt like this. Not that you didnât have moments like this with Robbie and vice versa. It was just wasnât this type of thing that you got to do often with other people. You tried your best to get through it. You kept a journal yet you can only write so much and place so many feelings into the pages that it was expected youâd still have some to brew over. With Robbie though. Talking to him like he did to you felt like a whole breath of fresh air. No. It felt as iff youâd been swimming in a sewer, finally slipping into cleaner waters without all the pollution gripping to your skin like algae.Â
Robbie moved over next to you, wrapping you up in his arms as he nuzzled into your neck. You couldnât help the giggle the escaped your lips when you felt the softness of his lips mixed with his stubble brushing against your usually shaved neck. You felt content and he could tell. You were so relaxed now he was ready if you were to fall asleep right there and then. The sound he got from you made him smile into your skin. He was so happy he could give you the release you craved even when you didnât ask for it.Â
He never wanted you to ask for it. Because you deserved it even when you felt you didnât.Â
It was the same for him and you never wavered from supporting.
The two of you stayed there, peaceful and happy before you shot up to the smell of burning.
Of street gangs and coffee (Robbie Reyes x Male Reader)
Hey everyone! Sorry its been a while but I finally got around to finishing this fic. Been busy with Uni work but I am also working on more to post. Hope you like it.
Plot Summary: You find Gabe Reyes being harassed by thugs and try to help. Afterwards you meet his brother Robbie
Today hadnât been like you had planned. After spending the morning studying and listening to the teacher drone on through classes, you were happy to be on your way to work. Knowing the type of neighbourhood you lived in, you werenât too surprised to see a group of men on the street trying to dismantle car parts so they could sell. Being somewhat of a house cat and not getting out much, you didnât do anything to stop them in fear theyâd see you as a punching bag though as you walked by, you were quick to do a double take. The men had stopped trying to steal the wheels from a wagon and had now set their sights on a boy in a wheelchair.Â
Shit.
Youâd seen that boy around college. You didnât know his name exactly, something like Gabe, he was younger than you yet seemed brighter than most in your class. Getting back to the present. You saw as he tried to ignore the men looking at him and push himself away. You saw the men were mainly eyeing his wheelchair yet some some were laughing at his look of fear. Before they could completely back him to the wall, something in you made you rush to stand between the boy and the group. You stood yourself firm âPlease back offâ. You didnât let your voice waver nor did you come off aggressive yet you said while looking what looked to be the leader dead in the eye. You heard a *ting* sound and realised it must have been the back of Gabeâs wheelchair hitting the brick wall behind him. All the man did was laugh at your futile attempt to protect him âYo man fuck off ok? You canât do shitâ. Before you could even try to think of a way to get Gabe out safely, a roaring could be heard, causing everyone to turn their attention away from you. Before you knew it, a slick black ZxB charger came literally charging at the group. The men jumped back in time for the car to stop right where they had been, blocking them from you and Gabe. The doors burst open and a man and woman jumped out to face the group. Gabe gasped âRobbie?!â. You turned to him, tilting your head in the direction of the man âYou know him?â. Gabs looked back to you and nodded âbrotherâ. That made sense, not a lot of people in this neighbourhood would usually come to someone else rescue, especially if their car looked that slick. The man, Robbie, had been glaring down the group leading as he tried running his hand across the hood of the charger. Honestly, if looks could kill, this man would never have walked the earth. The leader suddenly screamed bloody murder. Wiping his hand back in pain with the smell of burnt flesh running through the air. This caused the whole gang to charge forward at the two. The woman sent a look in Gabeâs direction, neither her or the man seeming to notice you in front of him, before turning to punch one of the gang members square in the face.Â
As the fight began, you looked to Gabe and saw his scared expression. Not really thinking about anything else, you got behind him and grabbed ahold of his wheelchair and steered him in the direction you were originally headed. âWait!â He cried out, turning to make sure he could keep his eyes on his brother âwhat about Robbie!?â. As much as you wanted to stay and help, you doubted either Robbie or that woman, possibly his girlfriend?, wanted Game anywhere near that fight. âHe looks like he can handle himself, Iâm gonna get you to safetyâ he didnât argue with you, not when you were basically running him across the street.
When you both arrived at the cafe you worked at, your boss came to see why you were so out of breath and were pushing a kid in a wheelchair. You informed them of the fight and what they tried to do to Gabs to which your boss let you serve counter so you could keep an eye on Gabe. There werenât really any customers today, just a passerby or two so you were able to keep Gabs company and made sure he was all right, letting him use your phone to call his brother while waiting for him to come back. You spent that time to get to know him. He remembered you from the college as well and had actually wanted to say hi before yet never got the chance. Occasionally youâd check outside the window to see if Robbie or that woman were on their way, not that youâd be able to recognise them since you only got to see their faces once but the car and uniforms were a little harder to forget.
You and Gabe both spent to the front door when you heard a car engine, you being in front of him incase it were another gang. Speak of the devil, you saw that it was the charger that had stopped right out front your cafe, probably because they saw you through the tinted windows. Both of them got out and stalked to the front door looking pissed. âGabe get back!â which he did obediently, not knowing why but seeing your worried expression and the look on the newcomers faces.Â
The door bell rang loudly as Robbie pushed through. As soon as his eyes landed on you and Gabe who you had kept behind you, he stalked towards you most likely thinking you were a threat to his brother âget away from him!â.Â
You really didnât want to start a brawl you were pretty sure youâd lose in the small cafe but you stood your ground and glared Robbie dead in the eyes âcalm down first asshole!â. Your order gave him pause, he just stared at you as his breathing gradually slowed down. His eyes were dark, nearly black yet you could still see the brown hue within them, there was something else as well. You were both so focused on each other that neither of you noticed Gabe rolling to your side.
âRobbie?â.Â
That snapped you both out of it and you resumed your stature âyou calm?â.Â
He nodded âyeahâ he said letting out a breath he didnât realise he was holding you supposed. He then turned his full attention to Gabe, kneeling down to check if he was hurt to which Gabe took his hands in his and assured him he was fine.Â
This caused a chuckle from the woman who you now got to face without there being an impending fight about to happen. She turned to you and smiled, her dark eyeliner giving her eyes stand out more in the smile. âHi Iâm Daisy, a friend of Robbieâsâ.Â
You smiled and stuck out your hand to shake â(Y/N), nice to meet youâ.Â
She took your hand and shook it âYou a friend of Gabeâsâ.Â
You tilted your head in a âsorta kindaâ fashion âSorta, I recognised him from college when those men went for himâ.Â
She raised an eyebrow at you âand you helped?â.Â
The question made something you go off yet you tried to keep your voice steady âyeah, why not?â.Â
âJust wouldnât have picked many types like that around hereâ was all she said, smiling again.Â
âYou have to be careful around here!â. You both heard Robbie say after making sure Gabs was alright. You turned to see him still crouching near Gabeâs wheelchair thinking now might be a good time to interject.Â
âIt wasnât his fault, those guys were trying to take his wheelsâ.Â
Robbieâs head snapped in your direction before standing up, some of the tension still there from before âand you just ran off with himâ.Â
âTrying to get him to safetyâ you defended. Something in his eyes seemed to flash at you, you didnât know whether to be cautious or defiant.Â
âRobbie he was just trying get me out of thereâ Game pulled on his brotherâs sleeve to ease the tension. Robbieâs gruff demeaneor shifted slightly.Â
âSorryâ he said under breath which you no doubt heard before he let his gaze fall on you again âand thanks⌠for looking after Gabeâ.Â
You smiled, glad to see he wasnât about to smash your face against a wall âNo sweat, Iâm just glad you two showed up when you did, sweet ride by the wayâ.Â
He chuckled at that. âHeh thanks, glad you got them to back off just in timeâ. The four of you stayed at the cafe for a little bit, that was until the sun started to set.Â
Your shift had ended and your manager let you go with the trio. As you made your way onto the street, you felt a pair of eyes on the back of your head âHey!â.Â
You turned to see Robbie who was setting Gabe in his car with Daisy trying to fold the wheelchair with no success âhow about we give you a ride home?â.Â
You didnât know why but something about the way he said it seemed a tad hopeful yet worried. You didnât want to intrude yet you did live in one of the more gritty parts of town. âUh, sureâ you said to which Robbie and Gave both smiled at your response. You took the wheelchair from Daisy and folded it up in less than a minute.Â
âDamn, you really know your way round that contraptionâ Daisy remarked at your speed after closing the door. Youâd sat next to Gabe where as she sat in the front next to Robbie.
The drive went smoothly in terms of driving. Not one run in with a group of gangsters or anything. Everyone kept clear of the charger coming through. Robbie introduced you and Gabe to Daisy who Gabe conversed about mechanics and travel for the majority of the ride while you mainly kept silent but still listening intently to the subject.Â
While you heard everything they were saying, you kept your eyes out the windows checking to see if there were any obstacles Robbie wasnât seeing. Occasionally youâd look over to the rear mirror and see him returning the gaze before looking back to the road.Â
This gave you a bit of time to assess his features. His appearance was like Gabeâs due to genetics, smooth caramel complexion yet his were suited more to your age with his jaw being a bit longer and sporting a stubble and moustache surrounding a pair of smooth yet thin lips. His eyes looked back to the mirror and to you again causing you to avert your gaze quickly. You ten realised that could be considered rude so you looked back to see if he was still looking at you.Â
He was.
He smirked a bit and winked at you before turning back to the road again. You were grateful no one was looking at you so they wouldnât see you blushing.
Soon you arrived at Robbieâs house.Â
Everyone got out except for Gabe as he needed his wheelchair so you retrieved it from the back and assembled it for him.Â
Robbie gave you a grateful look as he lowered his brother into the seat. He then looked to Daisy, âare you able to watch him?â He asked gesturing to his brother. Â
Gabe gave an indignant pout âHey! I donât get in that much troubleâ. To that you gave a loud cough to remind of why you were here.Â
âOi not funny (Y/N)!â the look of fake betrayal he directed at you sent you into a laughing fit.Â
The others chuckled at your reactions and Daisy agreed to watch Gabe. You said your goodbyes and agreed to meet him again at College before Robbie got back in the car to take you to your apartment. You slid into the front seat as he started the car.Â
As the two of you drove to your apartment which only seemed like a distance because of all the twists and turns, you couldnât help but look at Robbieâs features again. He seemed a bit tense still yet also sorta happy. His brows werenât set in a frown which made you realise how soft his eyes were, soft dark brown that seemed to take in all surroundings. That included you looking at him.Â
âSee something you like?â.
Oh Shit!
âS-sorry!â what left your lips was a stammer when you meant for it to be a bit more stable. Damn you.
Robbie let a little smirk form, he noticed you staring at him on the drive with Gabe and Daisy and tried looking you over without being noticed. Not that it worked for either of you.Â
âIts all goodâ he said as smoothly as he could. It was a bit awkward for him on the inside. He didnât usually find anyone this cute since he felt he needed to keep a tough persona for his and Gabeâs sake plus the added stress it could put on his family if he was openly hitting on a guy. It didnât matter though, he was always going to have the stress of the ghost rider on him and ever since he met Daisy, SHIELD was included.
It wasnât just because you were cute that attracted him though. Sure he had seen you around the College on the occasions he gave his brother a lift home and nearly enquired about who you were but wasnât sure what type of person youâd be. It was only when he saw you running his brother to safety that he realised you were the same person, grateful Gabe was with a random passerby.Â
âThanks for saving Gabe beforeâ.
You looked over to him again, having been trying to figure if you should start a conversation before he spoke. You smiled at him, not sure if he could see it out of his peripheral vision but nevertheless.
âAnytime, Iâm just glad he didnât get hurt though I donât know if I could have really done anything besides being a wallâ.
That spark something in Robbie.
âYou did great, also surprised you were able to get away so quicklyâ.
It was true, first he was furious that Gave had been taken without his permission yet given the circumstances, it only made him want to finish the fight faster. Then when he stormed into your cafe, he admired how you stood your ground against him for Gabeâs safety.
You blushed at the remark, âI thought it might put him in more danger if he were close to the fight, also sorry I stopped you from seeing him straight awayâ you felt you needed to apologise even when you felt it was necessary.Â
Robbie chuckled at your apology âno worries, Iâm glad you did though, my friend Daisyâs always saying Iâm a bit of a hothead when it comes to Gabeâ.Â
His comment on Daisy made you question. Were they just friends or on the way to being something more? You thought Robbie was straight down handsome yet thought itâd be less likely for him to like guys and maybe Daisy and him might have been a thing. âSo sheâs just a friend? I almost mistook her for a girlfriendâ.
Robbieâs brow quirked at your question. Did you think he was off limits? He wouldnât be surprised but that idea. âYeah Daisyâs just a friend, why you jealous?â.
At that he wriggled his brows at you causing you to trying but failing to suppress a laugh.
That laugh was so cute, it gave Robbie even more incentive to make a move.Â
As he pulled his charger up to your apartment block, he set the car into park and turned to you. âSo this is where you live?â He looked at the building, it was pretty nice considering the neighbourhood yet seemed like it could use some renovations.
âYeahâ you replied sheepishly, âthe neighbours are pretty nice so theres not much trouble the happens on this blockâ. It wasnât the best you could do but you wanted to save more money during College so you could move somewhere else once you got the job you wanted but for now you didnât feel the need to move out. âThanks for driving me home, Iâll see you and Gabe around College?â You asked turning your face away from the window and back to Robbie to find him staring at you. His gaze was warm and it felt like you were being engolved by the hazel irises. Keeping you there with no sense of danger. âWell I was gonna ask, you wanna catch up for coffee? Just us twoâ.Â
You were a tad surprised, was he asking you out? âYou mean like a date?â.
His brows furrowed a tiny bit. Crap had he made a mistake? The vibes he got from you werenât straight but he could be wrong. He chose to stay confident, if you said no then surely you two could be friends or at least you and Gabe could still talk. âUm.. yeah if thats ok with you?â.
You smiled to reassure him, seeing as he was looking a little worried. âI would love too, how does tomorrow sound?â.
Just like that, Robbieâs face lit up like a sudden combustion of flame, his eyes squinted from the smile stretching across his cheeks. âIts a date then!â He said still smiling.Â
You giggled at his reaction before you leaned forward and kissed his cheek, narrowly missing the lips but close enough to get an idea. He did his best to kiss back but you could both tell it was a little awkward, not that either of you minded that. âGoodnight Robbieâ you said as you climbed out of your seat and closed the door.
âNight (Y/N)â he called as he watched you walk into the building. He waited until he could see you from the window waving down at him before driving off. The wobbling feels of butterflies swirling in his chest and belly. For the first time in a while, the drive back was normal. No gangs trying to blow him up, no ghost rider taking over to reap the evil and now a cute date that he could look forward to who his brother already seemed to approve of.Â
Hey guys, something I was curious about and by suggestion of a follower, am now asking you. Would a ghost rider fic, either x male reader or gender neutral, be something you'd read?
Also a reminder that I'll take requests for m/m or plain x reader fics so please let me know if there's a promt or a certain character you'd like to read more of.
Ok so I know other imagines Iâve written and are planning to write are mainly have Eddie Brock and the Venom Symbiote being either protective or sympathetic to the reader which Iâve done for male readers to try and show them that they donât always have to be the strong ones. Iâm not sure if there are others like it but if there are Iâm sorry for the repetition. The reason I wrote this one was to give a better example using Tom Hardyâs depiction of  Eddieâs character since heâs always portrayed in a strong male persona so why not give him the comfort he deserves right? Also I didnât make much of a say of Venom and its shorter than my usual writings mainly cause Iâm just tired and this was what my mind conjured up.
You heard the door open from where you stood in the bed room. You heard it bang against the wall before being closed again with heavy breathing. You stepped out of the room and turned to see Eddie in the hallway. His eyes were bloodshot and he looked like he was sweating all over. Something must have happened. âEddie?â You spoke, his eyes instantly shot up to you and his slinked posture straightened up in no time âOh! Hey!â. He usually did stuff like this. Feeling like crap but trying not to show it in front of you. It became even harder for him to hide it once he bonded with Venom and that only added to his stress. It was something youâd grown accustom to no matter how much you wanted to help. He began making his way to the kitchen with you in tow. âEddie come on tell me what happenedâ you said when he stopped at the counter, seeing him grip the edge with the skin around his knuckles straining to the point where they had become a milky white. âEddieâ you repeated. His breathing was a bit shallow and you could see the skin around his neck becoming a little flushed. Venom must be speaking to him again. You reached out to place a hand on his shoulder before he moved away from your touch. âPleaseâ he began, âI donât want you to be caught up in all thisâ. He was referring to his situation with Venom, ever since the life foundation incident, more and more of the symbiote siblings had made appearances throughout San Francisco. One of them who you had a run in with, Scream, had nearly ripped you to pieces before Venom came to your rescue. It was certainly a frightful experience but you were grateful for the black symbiote and didnât let it effect you too much. âItâs going to be alright Edâ. He turned away from the counter to you. There were tears threatening to spill, he looked you over as if making sure you yourself werenât hurt. You reached a hand up to cup his face, feeling his scruff against your palm and stroking his cheek with your thumb. He leaned into the touch, you noticed his eyes were drooping slightly. âCome onâ you say as you took your hand from his face and taking his hand instead. You lead him back to lounge and pulled him down with you. Although you were smaller than him by a long run, that didnât stop you from being as much of a big spoon as possible. The two of you laid there on your sides yet you were more on your back and Eddieâs head snuggled against your chest as you held him close to you. You gently ran your fingers through his hair until you finally felt him relax and kept doing so afterwards. âIts going to be alrightâ you said again, giving a kiss to the top of his head, âYouâre going to be alrightâ. âMmmâ he hummed deeply which sent vibrations throughout your body, you didnât mind though since it calmed you as well when he was close. âWhy are you so good to me?â. You werenât really sure if you were meant to answer this question or if it was rhetorical but nonetheless you answered him with a light squeeze. âBecause I love youâ. He didnât answer after that. You realised heâd fallen asleep, the energy heâd spent had left him exhausted. At least now he could rest. That thought caused a smile to appear on your face. You would stay with him because this time, you wanted to be the one keeping him safe.
Peter Parker x Male Reader (Eddie Brock x adoptive son reader)
Eddie, your adoptive father, finds out about your relationship with Peter Parker.
Warning: Mentions of homophobia
Eddie could tell something was off.Â
For the past few weeks thereâd been a slight change in your attitude. You had been going to school like you usually would and he had checked to make sure you were though you were arriving home later in the afternoon then school ended. Youâd told him that you had joined a reading club after school with your friend Peter. Eddie wasnât too upset about you being friends with Peter considering they both knew each others identities yet whenever he asked you about the club and what you did, youâd always stutter and reiterate the story of a book he knew youâd read before. The Symbiote sensed it too, you were lying to them. But why? You seemed okay with him taking you in before and now whenever he asked about your friends or what you did after school, you seemed to freeze. He prayed you werenât doing drugs, not that he could see any effects that he could identify. Was it Peter? Had Peter told you who he was? Who he was to Eddie? Eddie had confided in you about being the Venom and youâd taken it pretty well. Had something happened to make you despise him? He decided he needed to investigate. He jumped out the window and made his way to your school, since school was supposed to be out for the day, he stayed to the rooftops and made his way to the school. He reverted back to human form before coming in through the school gates and wandered around. That when he spotted you around the side of the school talking to Peter. Eddie wasnât surprised that you were hanging out with the boy yet wondered why you werenât attending your club. Thats when he saw Peterâs hand reach for yours and kissed you.Â
You kissed back.Â
Whoa.Â
Out of all things, Eddie hadnât suspected you to be gay. Not that he had anything against that, if anything he was relieved due to the stressing about what else you could have been doing in the time between school ending and coming home. You and Peter hadnât spotted him which was a good since it gave him time to hide and go back to the apartment.Â
(WE SHOULD HAVE CONFRONTED HIM)Â Venom spoke inside his head, trying to figure out why they didnât go to their boy and ask why he kept it a secret. Eddie shook his head, how was he going to explain the problems of homophobia to a symbiote? âIt would have frightened him, its not the same for people who like the opposite sexâ. (WHAT DO YOU MEAN?). Eddie sighed âa lot of parents donât accept that other people are attracted to the same sex and often judge their children if they happen to be those peopleâ. He felt a twang in his body, the slightest bit of pain, (YOU ACCEPT HIM DONâT YOU?). The Venom was looking out for you, not wanting Eddie to be against you for liking someone. âOf course I accept him, thereâs nothing wrong with it, he might not know that so thatâs probably why he kept it a secretâ. The symbiote thought this over and concluded it made sense. The two spent the afternoon setting things up for a nice casual dinner night, not wanting to throw any hints that they knew when you came home.Â
While this happened, you were sitting on the roof of some hotel where you and Peter were spending the afternoon cuddling and talking about the day. You found it cool that he was able to be open about being Spiderman with you, after Ned found out of course. You were happy Peter had more than just one person to vent about it to. You two sat next to each other, fingers intertwined while watching the cars down below. It was peaceful and you were glad you could be here with someone you cared about with them feeling the same in return. âSo (Y/N)âŚâ Peterâs voice broke through your thoughts, you turned your head and saw his face with a bit of uncertainty. âWhats wrong Pete?â. âHave you told Eddie about us yet?â. You stiffened at that. Peter watched you in question, he knew you werenât too open about being gay due to how you were treated at school and your parents leaving you. He understood that yet didnât want you to be living in fear. He waited patiently for your response until you spoke up.Â
âI want so badly to tell him, heâs done so much for me and yet Iâm keeping a secret from him, like he even told me about being the venom! And the Symbiote seems to like me so I should just tell him but I donât want to see the disappointment Peter. Iâm scared theres a chance Iâll get thrown out again and I keep thinking about my parentsâ. Peter wasted no time in wrapping his arms around you. Holding you close to him to give what all the comfort he could. Seeing you in this crossroad sent him into turmoil. Surely Eddie of all people would be decent about it. Eddie may seem a bit rocky around the edges yet Peter could see heâd be accepting. He guessed when it came down to it. All three of you had your secrets.Â
Later that afternoon, Peter had swung you both down to your usual walking spot to walk you home, you normally insisted that you walked him home and sometimes you won yet this time you felt insecure and knew Peter would protect no matter what. God you were lucky to find someone as perfect and loving as him. On the way, youâd been going over the pros and cons until you came up to your building âIâm going to tell himâ. You both stopped at the door, Peter was cautious but kept your hand in his âYou want me to stay nearby? You know May would be ok with you staying if need beâ. You smiled by shook your head, glad to know May was accepting the awesome nephew she had. âIts fine, Iâll call or text you about what happens, thanks thoughâ. The two of you exchanged a kiss.Â
It was different from all the other times heâd kissed you, as if there was a chance you wonât be able to soon. Hopefully it wouldnât come to that. Once Peter left, you walked up the stairs instead of the lift so you had time to think about the scenarios that could transpire.
Eddie could be accepting or at least tolerant of the fact you were gay and not into girls.
You may chicken out and not even tell Eddie and so go on with the rest of your time knowing each other with a secret and a whole lot of excuses.
Eddie would tell you to get out.
The first one seemed pretty reasonable but considering your past, so did the other two. You didnât have enough time to think about it again as you came to the door of the apartment you might not be sharing anymore. You needed to think positive but it was so difficult. You got bullied for this, ridiculed, despised.Â
The door was unlocked. You felt heat traveling along your collarbones. The knob felt warm under your fingers, heâd been home and your chest contracted to cause pressure at your core. You twisted the knob to open up.
You heard humming from the kitchen, the wall blocking your view from the living room. You knew it was Eddie. You could smell something great. He was happy, did you really want to ruin it?
You closed to door behind you and made your way to the kitchen, leaving your bag near one of the chairs. Eddieâs humming stopped when he heard the buckles clank against the floor, turning to see you standing in the door way âHey! How was school?â. âSchool was greatâ a slightly genuine smiled found itâs way on your face. You looked at him, he was wearing an apron with a table cloth in his hands. There was a pot behind him on the cook top that permitted the air with a saucy taste. He seemed to see right through your disguise but didnât mention it. The two of you sat at the table, heâd been cheerful since you walked in yet you could tell there was something he was hiding as well, not that you felt you could judge.Â
âThis tastes great!â You said with much sincerity. It really was, people didnât give Eddie the credit of being a good cook yet every time he did you were amazed at how he well he was able to do it. You got a buzz from your pocket, thinking it might be Peter, you excused yourself from the table âIâm just going to the bathroomâ. You got up from the table and made your way down the hall. Once the door was closed, you took your phone out and saw it was indeed your boyfriend.
Peter: Hey, is everything good?
You: I came home to him being happy, I donât want to ruin his day.
Peter: Hun, your not capable of ruining anyoneâs day, remember you donât have to if you donât want to.
You: Thanks Peter, Im currently hiding in the bathroom so Iâll have to be out quick.
Peter: Ok, donât stress and if you need a pickup, just let me know.
You: I will (: Love you.
Peter: Love you too.
You put your phone back in your pocket and flushed the toilet to make it sound like you actually went.
When you came back to the living room, you found Eddie washing up the plates in the kitchen, he had a conflicted look on his face, the same as yours. He noticed as you came him, not bothering to hide the look on his face, his eyes even started to faze to black. You came up and started wiping the dishes next to him âEddie theres something I need to tell youâ. Eddie kept scrubbing yet smiled at you as if he was encouraging you to let it out. Your heart was beating too quickly and you were sure he could hear it.Â
âIâm gayâ.
Eddieâs facial expression didnât move, still in that same small smile that you couldnât tell was actually happy or hiding disgust. It was the same look your parents had.Â
âPlease say somethingâ you pleaded, you thought it would be easier if he just told you to get out right there instead of drawing on the silence.
âEddieâ you tried again.
His smile changed, stretching up to his cheekbones as he gave a light chuckle,Â
âI knowâ.
Wait what?
How did he know?
Were you that obvious?
âW-wha? How?â.
He stood there as you tried to figure out how he knew. âI saw you kiss Peter at the school today, I thought Iâd check to see what you were doing instead of âbook clubââ, he used the quote marks with his hands.Â
That sent you over the edge, your eyes welled up in tears that rolled down your cheeks in a matter of seconds. The sobs couldnât be contained as they racked through your body. Eddie was shocked at your response, wouldnât you be happy to have come out, did he sound too harsh?. He quickly brought you into a hug âOh (Y/N)! Whats wrong? Look its ok if your gay, theres nothing wrong with that, please donât cryâ. You sobbed into his shoulder, feeling his arms wrap around your frame. âNo its not that. Im sorry that I lied. I didnât know how to tell you since you let me stay and I didnât want to go through what I did with my parentsâ. Now Eddie was crying, he should have known it would be due to your parents. You felt him hug you tighter. âIm sorry you felt that way, I didnât know that was the reason, you didnât deserve thatâ. Your sobs dampened slightly before you asked âSo your okay with this?â. You were met with another squeeze âOf course I am, we both areâ he said referring to the symbiote. The two of you stayed there, hugging until you heard a buzz from your pocket. Eddieâs voice was still gruff but less sad when he asked âIs that Peter?â. He released you from the hug and took your phone out, checking the text âYeah its Peter, heâs asking to see how Iâm doingâ. âWhy donât you bring him over?â. Your head whipped to Eddie in an instant âwait really?â. He smiled and chuckled at your response âYeah, we can have him over tomorrow night if you want? Need to make sure he ainât a punkâ he said with a huge grin on his face. You hugged him again, too excited to actually form words âthank you! Eddie your the best!â. âNo worries (Y/N)â he said hugging back. You left to your room, smiling as you texted your boyfriend the good news. Eddie continued to wash the dishes with a smile of his own. (HEâS NOT SCARED ANYMORE, HEâS HAPPY) Venoms voice echoed in his head again. âYepâ he whispered âand I want to keep it that wayâ. The symbiote purred (GOOD).
Now I know this may seem very mild and not as extreme as some cases out there and I don't want to make it seem like its always romanticised and if its triggering, please donât read.
Eddie, your boyfriend, notices how thin you are and confronts you about it.
When it came to body image, youâd never really been bothered. You had no concerns with the way you looked and how people defined you mainly because they never said it to your face so you didnât mind. The reflection in the mirror showed you grabbing the back back of your thighs. It had started a few weeks ago when people at work had been making comment on your body. One of them joked that youâd squish them when you accidentally sat on their leg at the benches at lunch break, another even jokingly called you a âfat assâ when you ate. You knew they were supposed to be jokes but you couldnât help but feel targeted. You all did the same amount of work and you were all eating the same thing. So why was it that theyâd feel the need to joke about your body?
That brought you to now, feeling the thick skin of your thighs between your fingers as you pulled at it. Your calfs were the same when you saw they still bulged out from your legs. Yes, you were now unhappy with your appearance and so had cut a bit down on your food intake by a bit. Not too much, you thought, just so you would be able to lose a bit of the extra weight during your day to day activity.Â
You hadnât realised how far that went.
Eddie hadnât noticed yet. He hadnât been around a lot lately to actually observe how your body had slowly declined each time he saw you. That was until the symbiotic caught onto your change in figure.Â
(EDDIE)
Eddie gave a hum of acknowledgement to the symbioteâs voice, causing it to go on.
(SOMETHNGSS WRONG WITH (Y/N)).
This brought Eddie to full attention, âWhat do you mean? Whats wrong?â.
The symbioteâs voice rumbled in his head (HEâS SMALLER THAN BEFORE, HAVENâT YOU NOTICED?â.
Eddieâs breath caught. Now that he thought about it? You werenât as energetic as you used to be. You started staying inside your apartment more if you werenât going out for your job and overtime he saw you, you would be dressed in a thick hoodie yet he could still fit his whole arm around you when he was human. Oh god, how had he not picked up on it before?Â
(EDDIE WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WHY IS (Y/N) NOT KEEPING WEIGHT?). Eddieâs breathing told the symbiote this was no happy matter. âI donât think (Y/N)âs eating Vâ. The symbiote was confused (BUT WHY?).
âSome people who want me be skinnier tend to starve themselves of food so they donât put on weightâ Eddie rubbed his temple when the symbioteâs voice rang through. (WHAT!? HE DOESNâT NEED TO BE SKINNIER, WE WANT HIM HEALTHY DONâT WE? WE LIKE HIS WEIGHT!).
Eddie folded his arms as a way to sort of comfort the symbiote. âYes we do, come onâ he said as he grabbed his jacket and ran out the door.Â
Itâd been a normal day for you so far and a good one too. No one at your work had commented on your body and you didnât even feel the need to eat anything until later. You felt a bit weak but now you could fit into those jeans youâd wanted to wear for sometime yet you actually needed to wear a belt to stop them from dropping. You made your way home from work in no time since you started jogging for most of the way. You noticed a familiar bike parked near your building a smile crept its way on your face. You hadnât seen Eddie for a few days but now as you climbed the stairs to your door, youâll thinking of any movies you two hadnât watched yet. When you walked in, you found Eddie sitting at your island bench with a bag of take out right in the middle. âHey!â You called as you came up to him and kissed him softly. âHmmâ he smiled into the kiss yet it was not as happy as yours.
You put it down to something happening at work, thinking heâll talk about it in his own time. He wrapped an arm around you, pulling you closer to him. He could feel the bones of your hips against his arm, your stomach being an indent to your figure.Â
He couldnât help his breathing, it had gone rugged and you could feel the tense hold he had on you. âEddie? Sweetie whats wrong?â. He couldnât decide whether to be upset or angry at you right now. Upset because you showed worry for him instead of yourself and anger because of how youâd cause yourself to suffer. He pulled away to look at you. Observing your face fully. Oh how could he not have noticed? Your cheeks didnât hold any of the plumpness that he wanted to hold and kiss. Your skin looked tight as if it were glad wrap pulled over a skeletal frame. You looked worse than he did when he and the symbiote first connected. âWhy are you doing this?â His voice was pleaded yet tender as always when it came to you. You were one of the best things that ever happened to him in his opinion and the symbiote agreed full heartedly. You were kind and grateful for those around you. So why couldnât you be kind to yourself?
You were confused at the question. What were you doing that would upset your boyfriend? Did he think you were cheating? Had one of your friends called him as a prank.
âI donât know what you meanâ. âThis!â His voice was frantic as he gestured at you âI mean this. Youâre not eating!â. You were stunned, you were eating, just not as much as you used to, you were at a healthy stage right? âI-Iâ you stuttered, trying to figure out your response âI am eating-â. âThen why are you skin and bone (Y/N)? Donât lie to me, we can both see it and I can even feel it on you. Youâre starving yourselfâ. âIm not starving!â You raised your voice at him which caused him to recoil from you. You werenât usually one to get upset or angry at anyone, especially Eddie and Venom. You just felt cornered and needed a sense of grounding. âSorryâ you saw how he relaxed a bit but his eyes still showed signs of surprise âbut I am eating, just not as much as before so I can get it shapeâ. Eddie gestured to your body again âbut why? Youâve lost too much!â.Â
âNo I have not!â
âLift up your jumper thenâ.
That caught you off a bit, what would he say when seeing your torso. You were naturally bony in your upper half, all the fat usually went to your legs and cheeks. Now that you lifted your jumper, even you could see a lot of your ribcage had become more definite. Oh shit. âYou looked back to Eddie who looked close to tears. You werenât too far from crying yourself. âEddie Iâm sorr-â you were cut off when he quickly pulled you into him, holding as if you werenât going to be there any longer. You felt slippery tendrils under neath his hands on your back. Both Eddie and Venom were worried and scared for you. You didnât feel wrong though. But Eddie was suffering too in seeing you like this. You noticed the difference in texture between your hands and his cheeks when you pull back and held his face. You really were bony compared to his plump skin. And he wasnât ugly, if anything he was a Teddie bear and was bigger than you whether or not you were starving.Â
âIâm sorryâ you started again âIâve been a bit self-conscious lately and was getting tired of what the others were sayingâ. (THE OTHERS?) Venom had brought his face out of Eddieâs shoulder in order to ask you directly (WHO ARE THEY!?). âPlease tell usâ Eddie said to accompany Venomâs request. You shook your head âJust people at work, its fine, Iâll stop ok!â You were a little frantic to get them off that subject since you knew full well what could had happen if they knew who your co workers were. Eddie didnât believe it, why were you hiding them? âPlease tell meâ he pleaded. You shook your head again, âplease, look Iâll eat, they were just joking and I took it to heartâ. A look of puzzlement set itself on Eddieâs face, his brows furrowed more than before. âWhat do you mean they were jokingâ. You sighed lightly, trying not to breath in his face. âThey kept commenting on my body, joking and saying things like I was a âfat assâ and stuff like thatâ.Â
So thats why you werenât eating.
â(Y/N)â he began, âyour not fat and you werenât fat to begin with, theyâre assholes for saying that to youâ. He suddenly lifted you up into the air, no with any effort really due to your significant loss in weight. âUh. What are you doing?â You asked, not fully knowing whether he just wanted to hold you or wanted to go somewhere. He chuckled, something you could feel easily vibrating through your small frame âcarrying my babyâ. Now that you were sort of in a relaxed position, you realised your head felt a bit heavy to which you rested against the worn yet soft material covering Eddieâs shoulder. He set you down on the couch before leaving again. You whined a bit when he did that, only to then see him placing Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban in the DVD player before coming back with the take out bag. âAlrighty thenâ he said when he picked you up again and sat down on the couch with you in his arms. Two black tendril shot out from his knees and carried the take out to you from the table. âThanks Venomâ you said to the symbiote. Eddie smiled at you when the symbiote passed your boll to you. Heâd gotten you friend rice from the Chinese restaurant down the street. You then turned to Eddie again, âThanksâ. âNo problem hunâ. âAnd Eddieâ. Eddie perked his eyebrow at you in question âyeah?â. Your voice came out a bit timid but not in the way that meant you were scared but in a way that meant apologetic âIâm sorry about all thisâ. âDonât be sorryâ he said as he cuddled you closed, his cheeks pressing against yours âI just want you to be okâ. That cause a stray tear to roll down your cheek as the movie started âIâll eat moreâ. Eddie noticed your tear, bringing himself to kiss it away âpromise?â. Although you liked the feeling of being thin, you also liked the warmth and care of your boyfriend and knew you needed to make a choice. You turned your head and kissed his lips, the warmth spreading into you, making you feel safe in his arms âpromiseâ.
Let me know what you think or if thereâs anything specific you would like me to write about.
You will meet many types of people in your life. You will meet delicate flowers, raging oceans, quiet forests, towering mountains, and colourful skies. You will meet thunderstorms, you will meet lightning. They will knock you down, they will leave you breathless. You will meet sunrises, you will meet gardens. They will give you light, they will take you on adventures. Explore them. Get lost with them. They all have something to teach you.Â
Reblog if you want to people to come into your inbox and tell you what type of person you are to them - gardens? a sea storm? a sunrise that is brilliant and bold, or a sunrise that that is soft and pale with mist and promise? anything or everythingâŚ
Being Eddieâs boyfriend and running away after he hurts you only for him to come looking for you in the venom suit.
There was an aching in your chest, whether it be the burning in your lungs or the pain you felt in your heart. Your footfalls clapping silently on the street pavement as you hurried away from your apartment. You didnât know where you would go or who you would go to. All you needed to know was that you didnât feel the need to stay at the moment.
It had been an average month for you and Eddie, he was going out during the day for his photographer job and not coming back until the wee hours of the night, sometimes youâd wait up for him depending how you felt at the time. You could always hear how heavy his breathing was before he quieted down and tried sneaking into the bedroom so you wouldnât stir. He knew you could hear him due to the symbiote inside him. This had been going on for a while and you were growing tired of wondering where he went. Heâd wake up each morning acting distant before going back to work where you wouldnât see him for the rest of the day or night for that instance.
You guess he could be busy trying to find a lead in a story, probably something to do with that criminal youâve seen on the news. We he came home with blood on his shirt, you snapped. No more lies. You werenât going to stand idly any longer. The argument had started pretty quickly before you got frustrated and started raising your voice to match his.
And thats when he hit you.
Your world went blank when your body flew to the side, slamming into the picture frame hanging on the far wall, the impact of your head to the class causing it to crack and pieces falling about your feet creating cuts on your delicate skin. The shock hit you like a bullet. You stayed there lying on the floor as your boyfriend just stood there. He actually hit you. Even though you were tough, Â as was something you had to become as a gay male to succeed through what was thrown at you, you werenât surprised that his strength outweighs yours or the fact he was somehow able to send you airborne into the wall. It was the fact that he hit you that scared you. He had made the promise to never hurt you when finding out about your previous relationship and thats exactly what he did. â(Y-Y/n)â he stuttered, trying to form the right words while realising what he had done. He reached out a hand to you, trying to go slow while restraining the venom which so desperately wanted to hold you and make up for what they had done. âDonâtâ Your voice was hoarse and jabbing âDonât touch me!â Without another word, you grabbed your backpack and clothes, not even waiting to put them in while you ran out the door.
The tears werenât stopping no matter how much you walked or tried to force them down when passing others on the street, unaware of the eyes catching every glimpse of those tears.
You had made a distance from your apartment and decided you had walked far enough. You were now in the more restless part of town, somewhere you werenât usually found in yet knew enough to know where to go. If you remembered correctly, there was a cheap hotel a few blocks over and you could make a clean line there if you took the alley ways. You werenât stupid. You checked the alley ways for anyone who might be there. Finding none, you made your way through only to feel something large and oily grip around your waist pulling you up the wall.
You werenât given time to scream as something else liquid like formed around your mouth. You had seen something like this, on the news and through one of Eddieâs reports. You were making silent prayers to whatever out there would help you that you werenât going to die by the hands of this creature. Whatever it was. It crawled its way up the wall before latching itâs body to the surface, holding you between. Your back was to the building and your face brought up to look at the strange being. It was a behemoth of a thing. Black slime covering its body with large white scar shapes for eyes. Its mouth was the most horrifying thing about it. Large animated teeth pertrude from the mouth outward to the point where your certain if it leaned in any further it could poke your eye out. The limb covering your mouth released you, yet you didnât scream. You were scared as hell yet didnât think of screaming incase that triggered the being. Instead, fresh tears just rolled down your face.
The creature used itâs free hand to draw a claw across our cheek, wiping away the tears before it spoke âYOU DO NOT NEED FEAR USSSS (Y/N), WE DONâT WANT TO HURT YOUâ. You were taken back from the statement. If it didnât want to hurt you, then what did it want? How did it know your name?. The creatureâs face seemed to part in a liquid state, itâs tongue and teeth withdrawing to show Eddieâs face. âEddie?!â You gasped, you were still in tears and didnât know what the hell was going on. The black liquid suit still covered the rest of Eddieâs body except his face and neck. His face held so much sadness and pain as he continued to hold you, bringing you closer to him so he could hug you. âIm sorry, Iâm so- so sorryâ you could hear him trying to hold back the sobs that threaten to escape his lips. âI never meant to hurt you, we just wanted you to listen. I love you!â. You wanted so badly to wrap your arms around him and tell him he was forgiven but you couldnât. You had been hurt before and whether he was covered in black slime or not, it had been his actions. âYou need to tell me whats happening Eddieâ you said with such a chill that even you felt it, still wrapped in his arms. âI canât forgive you if I donât knowâ.
That nearly broke Eddie right there. This wasnât a side of you heâd seen casually and he knew heâd screwed up, big time. He let the venom suit take you both up the building before setting you down on the roof. You watched as the suit sank back under Eddieâs clothes to leave him how you saw him before. He walked over to you but stopped when you took a step back. He sighed before looking you in the eye âWhen I was put in that experiment for the life foundation. They used an alien being known as a symbiote to cause a merge between the alien and humanâ. âSo what, you now have an alien attached to you? May I ask if its a parasite?â. Thats when you saw a brief flash of black across his eyes before returning to normal âyes but heâs not a parasite, heâs a symbiote so we both benefit from being merged, he gets a host to inhabit and I get the abilities like what you just sawâ. âYou mean turning into a black slime? Is that why youâve been out and had blood on your shirt?!â You asked with the cold still in your voice. Eddie nodded before letting the symbiotic take over again. You watched with sheer curiosity as the suit made him larger and a tad gruesome. You watched as Eddieâs tongue slithered out and morphed to become that of the creatureâs. His voice was dark and sounded like it was hissing âWE ARE VENOMâ. The creature -Venom, gave you no time to react before grabbing ahold of you and pulling you in for a hug. âWE DID NOT WANT OUR MORSEL TO BE SCARED OF US. WE DID NOT MEAN TO HURT OUR MORSEL. WE CARE FOR YOU LIKE EDDIE DOES.â You were somehow okay with this. âPLEASE DONâT BE MAD AT USâ Venom whined and you seriously wondered if Eddie hadnât somehow melded with a demonic puppy dog. You decided your coldness had gone on long enough. âIm not madâ you said as you wrapped your arms around his torso or at least tried to âbut it hurts to know you kept something this big from me. Iâd actually started to worry you were cheatingâ. That caused both Eddieâs and Venomâs voices to cry out. âWE/I WOULD NEVER!â. Venom hugged you tighter before receding back to Eddie. âSoâŚare we okay, wait! Are you okay?â His hands went to your face and you couldnât help but slightly flinch but didnât stop his fingers from inspecting the place where your head had taken damage. His found a bruise forming. New tears began to spill from his eyes âI canât believe I did this!â. âEddie stopâ You were forced to use the voice again. It was the only way you could see him listening to you right now âThe damage is done and thereâs nothing either of us can do about it except wait now are we going home or am I going to be finding a hotel?â. Instantly you were grabbed by Venom before he gently put you down and looked at his feet in shyness. âSSORRY, WE WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE FOR YOU TO COME HOME, CAN WE TAKE YOU THERE LIKE THIS? ITSS SSSAFER FOR YOUâ. You looked at him in confusion, how was travelling home with a massive slime man going to be safer for you? You really had nothing against how he looked but you knew it would raise suspicion if people casually saw him walking around at night. He seemed to catch onto this âWE LEFT THROUGH THE WINDOW TO FOLLOW YOUâ. You gave a skeptical look âreally?â Now that you think about it, it didnât seem that surprising considering how Eddie was somewhat in the habit of sneaking and that, mixed with the protective attitude Venom was showing made it seem reasonable. âFine by me thenâ.
Venom was careful with you when jumping from building to building until he got you both to the window of your apartment. He climbed through the window and went straight to the bedroom with you still in his arms. Usually you werenât one to act as a damsel in need of being carried around constantly, not because you thought you were too masculine for it, you just didnât like the thought of being lazy but you also didnât want to upset venom anymore than you had. You understood now why Eddie had kept it a secret but it still hurt a bit. Venom let you change before laying down on the bed with you. Your head rested on his shoulder since it was big enough to be a pillow. âISSS OUR MORSEL COMFORTABLE?â Venomâs voice sent vibrations through his and your body, you were quick to reply. âYeah, I have a question though, if you donât mind?â. âANYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW, WE HAVE NOTHING TO HIDEâ. You waited a bit thinking of how you were going to ask this before you got the words together. âSo am I dating just human Eddie or both of you?â. Â The symbiotic chuckled âWE ARE BONDED AND LEARNING TO CARE LIKE EDDIE DOES SO YES. DO YOU CARE FOR US?â. You werenât opposed to the question but you wanted to be sincere. âIâve only just met you and I love Eddie so I can learn to care for you as well. You felt his body shrink back to human and revelled in the warmth Eddie gave off as he hugged you again, sleep slowly taking hold of you both. âI love you (Y/N)â. âI love you too Eddieâ
