Hey guys! Sorry I've been posting so little lately!

I have all of season 1 and 2 to post! I'm just in the middle of pre-production for my next short film so that's taking all of my team. But I promise I'll be back with tons of pop culture for you Community Warriors!

Gobi Nadir: You go host American Idol, and you stop messing with my son. He’s a special boy. I raise him, ok?. You don’t raise him.

Britta: Raising him means letting him follow his dreams! 

Gobi Nadir: Dreams are for sleeping. 

Britta: You don’t know that.

Gobi Nadir: It’s clinically proven.

Britta: So is polio!

Gobi Nadir: You lost me!

Pierce: You can even use a sneeze to drive home a point. Like, I think The Cubs are gonna win all this year. [Sneezes] What do you think?

Troy: Tell me more.

Professor Whitman asks the students to stand on their desks just like in Dead Poet's Society.

Britta: You don’t really have tickets for Ravi Shankar, do you?

Jeff: I lied to get you here because it’s time to communicate. 

Britta: Communicate? Have you met Abed?

Jeff: It’s not the two of you that need to talk.

Gobi Nadir: Hey, wait a minute, where’s Weezer?

Abed's Dad not letting Abed follow his dream in "Introduction to FIlm" is like in Dead Poet's Society when Neil's dad doesn't let him follow his dream.

Abed: I’m interested in making movies but my dad says all media is western propaganda that negatively stereotypes Arabs.

Troy: Then he should see Aladdin. Jafar was a badass.

[After watching Abed’s film] It’s not exactly Citizen Kane.

Jeff: I will get an small black coffee.

Professor Whitman: Boo! An ordinary coffee for an ordinary life.

Jeff: Gooood morning, Professor Whitman. 

Professor Whitman: Sorry, Mr. Winger, these won’t cut it.

Jeff: Shazbat!

[It’s a reference to Robin Williams’ catch phrase in Mork & Mindy]

Jeff: Guys, I found it. The ultimate blow-off class. Professor Whitman. He thinks he’s in Dead Poet’s Society. There’s no tests, there’s no work, it’s just day seizing. The deadline to enroll is tomorrow. I suggest you all do it. 

Annie: Well, some of us are here to actually learn things.

Troy: I’m in.

Annie: Me too, it sounds educational. 

Shirley: I’ll do it, I love Robin Williams.

Jeff: Abed?

Abed: Not a fan. In every movie, there’s an authority figure that gets mad at him for making people laugh. 

Jeff: No, are you gonna take the class?

Jeff: Hey man, my name’s Jeff. I’m trying to lock-down the rest of my schedule before the deadline. I’ve heard this class is a cakewalk. Are you passing it? Do you like Dane Cook?

Student: Yeah he’s awesome.

Jeff: So far, so good.

Hey guys, I need opinions

When quoting Abed's Dad, should I quote him as "Abed's Dad" or "Gobi Nadir"? What do you think?

Pierce: Why would a ghost want a pen?

Jeff: Troy?

Troy: Okay, so I see it a lot like the movie Paranormal Activity, except for more boring an fancy. And I think in 1856, it is possible that a man was beheaded while he was writing in his diary to his long-lost love. And now he roams the halls of Greendale screaming for his pen so he can write her a love letter. “I need her, I need her,” he screams as he looks for a pen.
