Iniesta

It’s been what feels like a millenia since I last posted anything on my blog here, but there’s no better time to return than to acknowledge the legendary career of Andres Iniesta. 

I don’t speak much to those close to me about my earlier bouts with depression, somehow I feel more comfortable letting my dirty laundry dry here instead. My only source of happiness during said dark time was Barcelona, and so much of this team’s essence comes from the maestro himself. You don’t need me to recount the magic of this footballing diamond, as I’m sure you’re all well educated about it.

All I want to say is, thank you. Thank you for being someone who brings light into the lives of those who are much better off because of it. Thank you for the hypnotizing performances that provided us the escapism we yearned for. Thank you, for everything.
