Minster Oktoberfest and new Brewery

One of the best Oktoberfest I have ever been to is in the small town of Minster, Ohio. It is about an hour north of Dayton in the middle of corn fields. Small Town with a large German tradition. From real German food to the beer to the music it is just a blast. You do have to prepare yourself though because the beer comes in half gallon jugs. There are lots of arts and crafts that also go along with this event as well. There is just nothing like this in the big cities. Make sure you have your DD.

This year before we made it Oktoberfest we stop just up the road in New Berman to see their new brewery Gongoozlers, that had opened just a few weeks beforehand. Nice new building with plenty of space to expand. They one had four beers ready to go but they have a good footing to build off of. I can't wait to see what they will have to offer later.
