I've always seen Black & White as separate beings. If they not clarify me that they are two halves of the same being i not even noticed: -S.

They are both Joker, but they behave differently. They definitely don’t like being confused for one another, yet they don’t mind the fact that they are the same Joker. Black explains it this way in the 6th Joker event from JnKnA.

Black: I’m Joker. He and I are both Joker.

Black: We are the same Joker, but he and I are different. We’re both different in equal measures.

Alice: That means…you really do have multiple personalities?

Black: Hell no! Don’t treat people like they’re mentally ill. Joker and I can actually change between mask and body.

Black: Not only can we switch within the same body, but we can also exist in the same world in two bodies.

There is also a scene in DnKnA where he becomes one person in his ending.

Hi I got a random question for you do you think joker is the type of character that would love to have kid? what type of father do you think he'd be?

Well I’ll say what I know for sure first. Joker would like to have a family. There is evidence of that here. I can’t say for certain if “family” for him includes children or not.

On a more speculative train of thought I think there are two major issues that could keep him from having kids. The nature of his phantom-like existence makes it hard to know if he is even capable of having offspring. And the other issue is that he is an unrepentant bastard. I don’t think he would consider himself suitable to be a father. That’s not to say that he would never entertain the thought of having kids. I just don’t get the impression that it is something he would actively try to do (more like a pleasant “what if” daydream). But if he suddenly got news that the woman he loves is pregnant I’m sure he’d still be thrilled after the initial shock.

To be honest I think he’d be a terrible father. Not for a lack of love but for a lack of sanity. He is such a dark and twisted character. That’s not something that just goes away when it becomes problematic. It would take some tremendous growth of character for him to make a decent father. As it is now his love would screw up a child. From a slightly more positive outlook I’d say Black would be the more responsible one while White would be the one who spoils the kid (with perhaps a few exceptions to the rule).

Tips? Well I think the best I can do is give you more insight from the games if you haven’t already seen the stuff I’ve posted.

I actually think the manga covers him pretty well. You’ll definitely get more from the games, but Fujimaru and Job have done a great job portraying him. There is only one thing that happened due to the English adaption of Circus and Liar’s Game that really mischaracterized Black Joker.
