Matthew 7:13
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
Picture this scene with me. You’re walking at the end of the road and you see two gates. One gate is very large, it looks very pleasant and easy to travel on. What’s more, the vast majority of people are going through it. It’s very tempting to go that way. You think to yourself, all those people can’t be wrong, can they? Then there’s the other gate. It’s very narrow and the path looks rugged and difficult. What’s more, only a few people are taking this path. You wonder, “which one should I take?” All of us have to make a choice about which gate we will enter. Some of us have entered the narrow gate that leads to eternal life. Others, the wide gate and are walking on the broad way that leads to eternal destruction. The good news is that it is not too late to change paths! If you have entered the wrong gate, you can still go back to the narrow gate, enter through it, and begin walking on the narrow path that leads to life.
