Pasteis de Bacalhau
(for 18 croquettes)
Ingredients:Â
125g soaked bacalhau*Â ca 125kcal
250g potatoes ca 250kcal
1 onion ca 30kcal
3 eggs ca 234kcal
parsley
1 tablespoon of olive oil to fry onion and bacalhau ca 100kcal
oil for frying (1-1,5 cup) 2210-3315kcal
salt, pepper
the mass have 1844/2397kcal, one croquettes - 102/133kcal
Preparation:
* Soak the bacalhau for 2 hours (more or less - it depends on the kind of bacalhau) and then drain.Â
Boil jacked potatoes , cool them, peel and mash to purĂ©e.Â
Fry onion in olive oil, add shredded bacalhau and fry for a few minutes.
Mix mashed potatoes with onion, bacalhau and well beaten eggs. Add the chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper. (Salt carefully because bacalhau is naturally salty!).Â
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and fry small portions of the mass using two tablespoons.
Sonhos (Dreams)
 2 glasses of water
50 g of butter
200 g of wheat flour
oil for frying
5 eggs
zest of 1 lemon
salt
powdered  sugar
cinnamon
  Pour water into a saucepan, add the butter, lemon zest and a pinch of salt. Bring to boil, remove the zest and add the flour. Stir with a wooden spoon until the dough forms a kind of  a ball. Set aside from the heat and cool the dough a little. Add eggs one by one.
Fry in deep oil at 150 ° C, putting portions of dough with  2 teaspoons. Do not put too many, because during  the frying they swell and need place to turn around.
Put on a paper towel to remove absorbed oil and then sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Serve immediately.
Pasteis de Nata
Ingredients:Â
1 package of ready-made puff pastry (275g) 1025 kcal
zest of one half of a lemon
1 stick of cinnamon 5kcal
250 ml milk 145kcal
3 egg yolks 180kcal
100 g of sugar 400kcal
25 g maizena (cornstarch) 100kcal
1,855 calories, with 16 cookies, 1 = 116 kcal
Preparation:
Heat slowly 150 ml of milk with zest of lemon and cinnamon until it boils. Put out the zest and the cinnamon. Mix maizena with the rest of cold milk. Put the sugar into 50 ml of water and boil it. Pour the syrup into the milk, put it on the fire and then add the maizena with milk. Still stirring, bring to boil. When the mass thickens remove it from the heat. Whip egg yolks, add to the mixture.
Roll the puff pastry and cut into 2 cm thick slices. Arrange the puff pastry in greased bun tins and pour the mixture of milk, maizena and yolks. Bake 10-15 minutes at 240 ° C. Sprinkle with cinnamon and powered sugar. Serve hot or cold.
NOTE:
The lemon zest shouldnât be grated. It must be a piece of peel!

80 ml olive oil with basil
Prepare the basil olive oil: blend 20 fresh basil leaves with olive oil and salt. Â
Slice the mozzarella and strawberries. Put them alternately on the shashliks sticks. Finish with a slice of strawberry and basil leaf. Pour on the shashliks olive oil with basil and serve immediately .
