Commission for @cinderedrose of his Revan being their troublesome self. Love seeing a scout causing some chaos :3

Do you have a simple trick to remember multiples of 9?
Yes (please comment with which one!)

Kreia: Exile, you have a good heart. The Exile: [smiles brightly] Kreia: It is super annoying.
Hot take: no one from Ebon Hawk's crew helps deal with gizka because they know how much Revan likes them and try not to reveal their knowledge.
I don't believe anyone else in the crew would turn down a chance to screw with Revan right back.
THAT WAS THE BEST SONG CHOICE FOR THIS VID
I thought I dreamt this video
A few weeks ago I tried explaining to my non tumblr friends what blorbo/eeby deeby/glup shitto/scrunglo/plinko was and it almost gave all of us an aneurysm
This was the post I was trying to explain. This was how I looked
Yeah I can see how this would feel like having a stroke to an outsider
I had made a post about this topic back in 2019, but I still very much stand by my likely unpopular opinion that I do not believe the KotOR 1 Ebon Hawk crew gets along much better than the KotOR 2 one, especially not enough to be a "found family" (frankly, I am starting to get sick of this term in fandom contexts).
The only reason the KotOR 1 Ebon Hawk crew looks like they get along better than the KotOR 2 crew is that the KotOR 1 crew has a clearer common goal to stick together, which is stopping Malak, since Malak operates more openly than the Sith Triumvirate.
Well kotor 2 had the companions interact WAY more than in kotor to begin with (like kotor only had those side convos where Bastila's like "Mission the Force shouldn't be used like that harrumph" [proceeds to trip Mission with the Force]). Kotor 2's companion interactions are less vague compared to kotor. Because of that, headcanons for the kotor crew's interactions make more sense since you kind of have to imagine how they would interact throughout the journey. Some may see it the way you see it where they kinda tolerate each other to get the job done the whole time while some can see most or some of them getting along.
For me, I like imagining them all getting along better as they go through their individual quests. As a story it makes sense. Like maybe Canderous no longer fights with Carth about the war after Jagi, Juhani no longer snaps at Canderous cause she learned to forgive, Carth doesn't treat Mission ultra protective/pedantically after finding his son...etc, they all grow as characters so their interactions with each other would surely show that? But unfortunately, there is a bit of Main Character Syndrome(TM) in kotor wherein the companions really only interact with you. There are barely any scenes of them interacting with each other after their important character moments.
So, in a way I think you're right but for a different reason. Kotor 2 had better written character interactions and conflict while kotor's interactions were barely written and vague and (most) people like to think positively about characters they like so they fill in the blanks. If some want to see them more as a "found family" in the end, I won't judge even though the game reeeally doesn't show that develop technically.
So, I've been reviewing a lot of Rakatan lore and the One's dialogue for this next chapter I'm writing...
uh I completely forgot the One "feasted on his enemies." I think. literally. My mind must have blanked that out when I played last (or I was rushing to the end as usual)!
Oh and I made this meme while sleep deprived last night after going through the lore and refreshing myself
Okay new headcanon I guess? I like the idea that the tribe of the One got the "feasting to get stronger" thing from the power of the Star Forge and thanks to telephone it got distorted. The Forge is "feasting" in a way on the Force so they were kinda right!
Astarion, the Decadent
This is a monumental failing by the Avatar live-action show runners.
Your favourite characters can (and should) be flawed. A massive part of Sokka’s character arc in season 1 is specifically on his sexism and how he faces it.
If you tone that part down, you’re toning down the role of the Kyoshi warriors who hand his arse to him because he thinks he can easily beat them.
"We've noticed that this character doesn't begin the series as a pure and flawless paragon of virtue, but instead begins with a notable flaw which is addressed and overcome during the course of the story as one of his main character arcs. We've fixed this 'problem' by removing that character arc and having him start out perfect so you don't have to go through the horror of seeing a person grow and change over the course of their adventures.✌️"
It’s just such a wild way to look at any media.
Removing all the conflict out of a story, ruins the story. I don’t want squeaky clean characters, I want characters who overcome their flaws, and I also want irredeemable characters who are dickheads.
It’s like putting the cart before the horse, you can’t have Sokka be immediately likeable and perfect. People like him because they’ve seen his character arc.
I have a new favorite duo in star wars
