Hey yall, I really don’t know how many people look at my blog or anything, but I thought I’d be nice to tell all my followers sorry I haven’t been posting. Not only is it finals week, but I also broke my phone Sunday night and that’s usually how i post on here. I’m going to have a lot to show yall from this up coming week! I’ll be in my hometown for a few days and if I don’t get my phone fixed there, I will still be taking pictures of my boyfriends first visit to Chicago. (Not the best idea to go when it’s super cold and he’s used to having an almost 80 degree Christmas. Love yall and I hope yall are having a great day, week, month and life.

We were only at 6 months?? Time is going by so fast, we're already a year and 4th months in. I still couldn't be happier with anyone than my best friend. So thankful for him!

Today I decided that any time that I have a complaint, I'm going to follow it with "but God is so good." I need to constantly remind myself that God is good when I'm most likely to forget Him. I know I'm not alone when it comes to pushing God down on the list of priorities when there is lots of conflict in my life. But how can we forget Him, who is carrying us through our suffering, who endured death so that we could live? I'm bringing God back to my first priority. I encourage all of you who have fallen, lost hope, lost faith, lost God to join me. Love yall.

I know it's a few days late, but yall I am just so thankful. My health may not be top notch right now, grades a re lower than I had hoped for myself, and I still haven't put up my Christmas tree yet, but everything that's going well out weighs all of that. I'll soon see my family (just about two weeks!), I have a roof over my head, I'm living with my best friend, and I get to see dogs all the time. I couldn't have asked for a better near ending to 2017.

Morning yall!! I woke up this morning wanting to just stay in bed. I have a test in physics today that I'm just dreading, but as soon as I stepped foot on campus, my day got a little better. It's freezing, my coffee is heated up from last night instead of fresh, and I'll be studying for almost 5 hours before this test. Ugh. BUT God made thus beautiful day, I still have coffee to drink, and I have extra time to prepare. God is so good and I hope yall have a blessed day.

There's something really comforting about being positive for yourself. It's not the easiest task, but telling yourself that you look good (even if in just one picture) is a good feeling. Especially when you mean it. Also my Cal 2 test this morning made me drink all of the coffee I had (like 4 cups) in two hours. There will never be enough coffee.

Thank you so much. There have been people who have told me, but it's always just been meaningless to me. Not that I didn't appreciate the compliments, just knowing that I needed to find beauty in myself first. You're a great person. And I hope people tell you that enough.

I’ve been playing around with filters a lot lately. I’m trying really hard to not focus too much on my looks and have fun. Yeah using snapchat filters may not seem like “having fun” but it’s helping me find comfort in how I look.

Maybe I'll never be the girl that turns everyone's head or who has the most exciting stories of growing up. Maybe I was meant to be just a little more grown up while I was younger. I thirst for adventure and excitement and know that someday I'll get it all. Maybe I won't be able to tell my future children "when I was your age" stories until they're 20, but honestly it'll be worth it.
