i. wren. twenty-eight. he/they. this blog is private and low activity. i work full-time and have other commitments outside of tumblr. i am often low on spoons and have a hard time interacting with people unless we're close out of character. your patience is appreciated, and will absolutely be returned. my discord and twitter are available on request.

ii. i format a little, but nothing too wild. i don't use icons. i use the beta editor, so please keep this in mind when writing with me. i don't care how you format, but i do ask that rapidly fluctuating text sizes and "fancy" fonts not be used with me.

iii. i tag triggers with trigger /. i have no triggers that need tagged, but would appreciate nsfw images being tagged with something simple.

iv. i write obito as bisexual, but honestly i'm not super open to shipping on this blog unless it's with close friends. in the event that we do have a ship, i practice ship exclusivity and i prefer it to be mutual. my main ship on this blog is with stealsight's kakashi.

v. my portrayal is canon divergent in that obito lives because i think it's stupid that he dies. i'll write out the intricacies of my portrayal later, but you can see stuff peppered all over this blog. or simply just ask me about it.

vi. i'm duplicate friendly but won't follow first. i don't care about reblog karma. i'll block minors and proshippers at the drop of a hat. i'm just here for a good time to be honest, so my space is curated to my liking.

headcanon dump because they're rattling around in my brain.

obito talks weirdly sometimes. this is because he picked up on madara's speech patterns and is trying to figure out how to balance his own, and madara's. so sometimes he says things that are very... old sounding. the peepawisms kicking in when he's only thirty-one.

he does have reading glasses post canon. his eyes are not as strong as they once were and also like. he has bad eyes in general. not so bad he needs glasses full time. but he does need them to read, which means whenever he's working? they're on.

his hair stays white post canon. this will have its own post as well, but it is important to note. tldr; it is a remnant of being the juubi's jinchuuriki.

he has no sense of taste. for a very long time, he didn't need to eat, and what he did eat was... unsavory. he ate zetsu matter and bark from the divine tree. not exactly flavorful or pleasant, so when he didn't have to eat, it became kind of a blessing. but then, post canon, eating and other human functions become a necessity again. that said, his sense of taste has disappeared, and often he forgets he needs to eat. please think of all those posts about being crabby / genuinely pissed and the followup that's like "i ate. normal again." that's him.

he does not hate madara. he has incredibly conflicting feelings on him, and everything that happened, but there is no hate there. and if there is, it will eventually disappear. madara is important to him, and to who he is. but this will have its own post.

obito and madara do have something of a psychic link. while madara hears things from the divine, obito hears it secondhand. it's muffled and not clear, he can barely decipher it, but he knows what he hears, and knows where it comes from. he hates it.

this one is not super important but one i feel is worth mentioning anyways but. it is very unlikely for obito to have kids. his body was fucked up from the accident, but then, mixing in everything else that happened? his body is abnormal, for lack of better word. it's not impossible but the chance is slim.

❝ those the only two options? ❞ it's said muffled from your current location - face buried in a pillow as you admittedly wallow in misery. everything is so strange now. humanity and mortality and everything that comes with it has left you feeling out of place. out of touch. familiarizing yourself with everything has proven more difficult than you've cared to admit.

unfortunate that kakashi has to be the one to deal with it.

you pull your face from the pillow and it takes too much effort. so you turn attention to kakashi, roll on your side, and flop back down so now, you're only half muffled when you speak.

❝ 'cause i've already died. i'm good at that, but don't really feel like doing it again. ❞ arm comes to drape across kakashi and you shift in. the contact helps you think. and maybe, sometimes, you use the need for grounding as an excuse to touch him.
