About Me Hi, I’m Devorah Torres, 28 years old from Cavite Philippines. Ever since I was just a little kid, I really love carrying bags and I had this very big dream which is to have a name in the industry as one of the most famous bag manufacturer all over the world, although I know that it is crazy to dream that big, but I always tell myself that I will work hard for my dream and I will not give up until I got that taste of success. I took my first course in Lyceum of the Philippines University which is BS in Tourism, but I stopped and travelled to Germany to try my luck there. After a few years, I came back to the Philippines and took a German course because I really think that it will help me in my future endeavors there in Germany. I also took a Caregiver course in TESDA for me to have an additional skills and be fully equipped for my second trip there. By God’s grace, I passed both of those courses and I told myself that it is time for me to go back to Germany again and try my very best to save money and invest in my dream. I worked very hard every day and managed to put up my own house and for my family here in Philippines. After years of hard work, I managed to establish my own brand and I am very thankful because I can see myself slowly achieving my goal. For those who are also dreaming of something big in their future, one thing I can tell you is to never give up and always give your 100% to everything that you do, you may face adversities, but it doesn’t mean that you should stop, that is part of the process you just got to be strong and have faith in the Man above.

The Devaura Confab: Behind the Mask

This Covid-19 Pandemic brought a massive change to the lives of every people including the way we go outside and interact with other people. 

Mask is one of those things that you must not forget when going out, it became a mandatory to every people to wear a mask when going outside to prevent further spread of the virus. Yes, it makes us feel secured and protected from the virus, but behind our masks are whispers that wishes this pandemic will be over soon. The Devaura Confab: The New Normal Christmas Celebration

It’s been months since the last time we had a normal life, no virus, no masks, no face shield, no temperature check, no social distancing, no rules that prohibits social gatherings and every little normal things that we do back then. It is just sad to think that we are still under the threat of this virus up until today, how I wish all of these will be over soon.

Christmas is coming yet the feeling is not there yet, you can see on everyone’s eyes that they are so focused on how to survive this pandemic, but I can’t feel the joyfulness and energy we had when it’s December like what we used to be when everything is normal back then.
