Also tried drawing Hakuno, didn’t quite like it, tried fixing it up digitally, still don’t quite like it, I’m just going to post it now when I’m too tired to think twice.

“So d‘ya get called giantess in class and stuff? Used to happen all the time back in Okinawa.” And it still happened to her, now that Kameko thought about it. Wait, she’d come to actually ask something important, there was a reason she was actually in Tokyo after all. “Oh, also d’ya know where the football pitch is. I lost the team at the train station so I think I’m late.”
laughs because it’s kameko’s birthday and i totally forgot woops
“Everyone my age seems kinda tall now, back home I was taller than the boys.”
“It’s the absolute worst”
Have some fire. Be unstoppable. Be a force of nature.
Be better than anyone here, and don’t give a damn what anyone thinks.
‹ 2 › – “I couldn’t not thank you – after all, the support people give our team motivates us and encourages us to keep working hard.” Karasuno wasn’t nearly as recognized and respected as it was in the past, so every single person screaming for them in the galleries meant a lot for them. “I’m glad someone… s-so pretty… came to see our match.”
“Well the fact you’re there in the first place is the reason I support you. The volleyball club I mean, not you specifically.” An awkward giggle passed her lips as she did her best to correct her mistake. Damn, she’d messed up. Maybe if she was lucky, they could forget that happened. “I wouldn’t want to miss you guys playing. Everyone says yer flightless crows or whatever--but you look amazing on court!”

So perhaps she’d kicked the ball a little too hard in her frustration. To be fair, she’d been irked. What sort of goalkeeper couldn’t kick the ball far away and accurately? If she wanted to replace the current regular goalie she was going to have to try harder than that. So she had. And said ball had ended dangerously close to some fellow high school student. Almost immediately Kameko called out to them.
“Oh my god, I did not mean for that to be a thing! Apologies, dude!”
Like for a quick starter?
‹ 2 › – Maybe it had been a bad idea after all, the female was looking for a way to escape, wasn’t she…? But then the response came and made him blush even more. “I-I’m sorry if it made you uncomfortable, I didn’t– I mean– Thanks for supporting the team!”
Uncomfortable? Why would a girl feel uncomfortable after being called--nope, she couldn’t think about that or she’d end up being totally embarrassing “No, I’m not--I just-- I really like watching you guys play. So don’t thank me. I should be thankin’ you.”
While she seems to flourish in other areas (for example she’s a talented cook) Kameko is, to put it nicely, as dumb as a brick when it comes to adacemics. A good portion of it is due to her inability to find passion for a subject like the passion she has for football and part of it is just that she really can’t understand the sciency and mathsy stuff. She is probably in dire need of a tutour.
“….?” why was she so stiff? It’s not like she’s picking a fight with her. Of course, Setsuka was always carrying around her bat at her side, and it became a part of her. So naturally she’d forget how intimidating she really was. “Did you need anything?”
Was this girl a delinquent? Kameko wasn’t sure, and a part of her wasn’t in much of a mood to find out either. But hey, she was lost. And a delinquent was better than no one at all right? “I-it’s nothing serious it’s just I’m sort of new to the area and I was wondering if ya could help maybe?”
“You’d make a great captain! Please come to Shiratorizawa and join the volleyball team!” A voice full of passion spoke, despite knowing that the chances of something like that happening were slim– just like the chances for her to play while Yua was captain. Nonetheless, she kept on trying; nothing wrong with that, right? “Of course! Even when I become famous and join the national team I won’t forget about you! I’ll even talk about you in interviews!”
“If I was smart enough to go to Shiratorizawa you know I would.” A grin made its way onto her face, it wasn’t like she had any overlying attachment to Karasuno anyway, she’d only been in the damn prefecture for a year and a half or so. Yes, if she was intelligent enough she would have done that in a heartbeat. Ran was such a nice girl after all, even if other people form Shiratorizawa looked sorta scary--best not to dwell on it too much. “I’d love that. I’d love it even more if I gotta be the one interviewing you to be honest.”
You’re not very good at hiding your feelings.
