AWAKENING

Most people get complacent or content in life. They end up losing their will, determination, discipline, and most importantly perspective. I'm a victim to this. We get caught in this continuous cycle of moving from one activity to the next that we lose sight of the beauty around us. Once we break out of this routine and open our eyes, it's the most refreshing feeling in the world.

It's a bittersweet feeling to leave the community, the ohana, of Living Way Church Maui. I came to serve but at most times was served with daily lessons and reminders of how to love and live with what you have. They welcomed us with open arms and accepted us as family from day one.
