China has the most modern globalized 21st century economy. Nowadays in 2024 The West is losing to China economically, therefore they do propaganda, sanctions, tariffs etc.
One of the propaganda points is the lack of democracy.
For success of a country, the important thing in my opinion is the economy. Not politics, or democracy.
Example can be Dubai. Tourists love it, and millions want to live there.
UAE, Saudi ,China are awesome countries. Without democracy, but with good governments, and most importantly, fair economic systems, supporting innovations, free market competition etc.
The world is different now. The West had values, now it’s in decline. In their flawed democracies people often hate both major parties, and don't trust the mainstream media. There are rigged elections, stock markets, and so on.
Politics is mostly full of useless negativity.
China instead focuses on becoming a leader in High-Tech industries like Cars, Chips, Drones, AI, Robotics. Their economy is growing at ultra fast speed, especially in big cities like Shenzhen, China’s Silicon Valley.
However, I do like humoristic criticism of China, even tho strongly disagree 😀
