I love seeing how every artist sees Kunikida and Katai differently. The personalities, the expressions, the tiny details. It makes me blush like an idiot every single time.. it make me feel so happy like wow? A beautiful human being graced this earth with its skill and drew Kunikida and Katai? This is so good it make me HOWL

98% of kunikida content is shipping him with another character and it really upsets me especially because a majority of the time the content is focused on the person hes being shipped with and not him

theres no just kunikida art or just kunikida fanfics its always kunidazai (ALWAYS kunidazai) kunikatai, kunichuu, kunibram, and literally anybody else in the world x kunikida

it feels like there arent any kunikida fans people only like him when theyre shipping him with their fav

Sometimes, when I feel down.. i go to this post and listen to the agency’s talk about training to catch a cat for a new job. I go at the time where Dazai frantically ask Kunikida to "meow" properly and Kunikida do it.. and I feel so embarrassed and flabbergasted that I forget my worries.. he's just so amazing like that..

I'd die if my own boss saw me meow

Totally random thought but I think it’s fabulous how you can tell what someone thinks Kunikida is just by how they draw him..

lLke.. the colors alone already say everything, for example:

Some people draw him "darker"(?) sharper, more severe. Dark green/heavier blond hair, golden/dark eyes.. Artists who draws Kunikida like that see his rigidity first. They focus on his anger, his 'harsh' ideals, the way he restrains himself and others.. and his discipline, his rules and how serious he is about them. Everything about him looks tense, controlled and compressed. (Love this so much.)

Others go for brighter hair, sharper green eyes, more contrast. and that one feels intense. This Kunikida feels more intense than cold. He looks volatile (in the way that he would do anything for his ideals and the people he cares about) and passionate, constantly on edge. His emotions feel like closer to the surface.. This version emphasizes (?) his frustration, his temper, and how much he actually feels. (My all time favorite.) I saw alot of Artists drawing Kunikida so colorful and full of feelings, I know they like Kunikida for how much he feels more than his rigidity or whatever.

And then there are artists who soften him, with lighter colors, light blonde hair and muted (is this the correct word?), olive eyes, gentler lines. that Kunikida feels tired more than just strict and "rude" like people says. (He isn't rude.) Artists who draw him this way seems to focus on his vulnerability and that quiet sadness behind his notebook.. that his ideals aren’t about control, but to do better, to make this world more human and gentle. (I also like this one alot. I like every type I think.)

So yes, when I look at Kunikida fanart I’m not just seeing him but I’m seeing what people noticed first. what they care about the most because they reveals themselves in the version they draw. And I can tell (not most of time of course, people are so unique and different, but sometimes if im lucky.) how people think, or feel which i think is.. wonderful. (right word?)

Like.. its the same character but completely different priorities. 💛💚
