What kinds/genres of names are you best at coming up with? I've seen you outsource to your followers a bit recently and I think it might be useful to know what you like!! also please feel better friend, I really appreciate you and learning about all these cool concepts people have going!!

human characters of any kind (this never gets old and I genuinely get a kick out of coming up with 5-10 names with a certain criteria or theme or idea, even if it's just a first letter or something)

(generally speaking) animal characters of any kind

towns/cities/islands (always fun tbh)

businesses

spaceships

parks/forests

boats

SOMETIMES planets!

brands (someone asked me for fictional cereal names once)

bands (lol)

sports teams

anything that would apply to your most "realistic" fiction genres!

things I am good at listing:

names with a general theme/vibe

random locations to use as a setting (real or fictional)

random character traits/factoids (hobbies, jobs, etc.)

honestly just random bullshit, I am a 2x Virgo, I love a list!!!

things I am VERY BAD AT NAMING:

countries

kingdoms

species

deities/gods/demons/angels

really anything explicitly FANTASY (like "name a spell" or "name a species of dragon" or "name a race of elves") ((I'm just not a fantasy fan (lol) myself so I have very little experience with the genre outside of DND!!!!)

i would like some name suggestions for flight though! i know you said here [link] that Bug and Rug's names are good (thank you for that btw!!) but I don't think I can call Flight. Flight.

He's a racer and was built for doing so if that helps! Other racers in the world (although they are ground racers, not flying) are Jakel and Alkey, if that helps too!

do you have any names that seem like. Almost human? Like yeah they could be regular names but they still feel odd? Asking cuz Ive got this uncanny vally kinda shapeshifter freak that needs a disguise name (it already has one name but thats for a different form to be recognized by one specific guy)
