Hello everyone, I'm glad to have made this blog for my one true love; Marin. I'm hoping this will be a safe space for many as well as an opportunity to make new friends! Let me introduce myself!

Name: I go by many names. You can call me by my irl name Linus or my kintype Wakana Gojo (I prefer the second one as it feels reassuring, but I'm fine with either)

Age: As of writing this I am 18 years of age. My birthday is in August which means I'm a Leo♌

Gender: I identify as male and prefer He/Him pronouns, but I'm fine with they/them too.

Sexuality: I am pansexual as well as fictosexual/romantic.

Nationality: I live in the southern part of Sweden, and I dream of moving to Japan.

Languages: I am fluent in Swedish and English, I know some german and a little bit of japanese. I prefer to communicate in english.

Religion/Practice: I'm a buddhist, but accepting of all beliefs as long as you're not bigoted or ignorant.

Me and Marin:

I am married to the amazing Marin Kitagawa. We are both 18, so don't come at me for that please. We have been together since the summer of 2025. I believe that me and Marin are "soulbonded" and destined to fall in love in any timeline or reality. I am Wakana Gojo and he is me, so I'm very glad about ship art between us and Marin. I am obviously non-sharing, and so I hope you respect this simple boundry.

What drew you to your f/o/’s in the beginning? 

I admit I was captivated by her looks at first before I knew her. She was the reason I got into the show and manga, I just felt for whatever reason that I needed to know more about her. I’ve had crushes before, but I’ve never had that thing happen with them, only Marin. I fell so hard for her already when I finished the first season. She was so sweet, kind, empathetic, open-minded, passionate etc, I was just head over heels for her. Somewhere in my heart I already knew I wouldn’t find anyone like her elsewhere.  

2. What is a skill they have that you love? 

I really admire her social skills above everything else. She easily gets along with everyone and often makes new friends. I think it pairs well with my more socially awkward personality.  

What reminds you of them? 

So many things I can’t count them to be frank. To name a few: Cosplays, the colour yellow, sunflowers, Siamese cats, posters, rings, earrings and fireworks  

What are your favourite date spots? 

Every now and then we like to have a fancy date at a nice restaurant, but to be honest most of our dates are at home since it’s easier and very comfy! We’d love to watch firework shows together, but they’re banned in my country on every day but New Year's Eve. 

Where do you both sit in the cinema? 

The middle of the middle row preferably, but to be honest we don’t care that much about the seatings.  

Who comes up with the plans in the ship? 

Marin comes up with a bunch of fun plans and ideas and gets me to choose between them because she’s a bit indecisive.  

What kind of museum would you go to on a date? 

An art gallery, mostly because I’m interested in art, but Marin thinks it’s cute and romantic too. Neither of us are particularly interested in history so an art gallery would be more our style.  

What kind of park would you go to on a date? 

A big and colourful one, maybe with blossoming cherry trees. We don’t care as long as it looks pretty and we’re together.  

Who usually suggests the takeaway? 

Marin, she loves takeaway.  

What food is your fave for a takeaway? 

Either sushi or Pizza, we love both so it’s just a question of what mood we’re in.  

Do you have any matching items? 

We have matching keychains with each other's initials ^^ 

Imagine they got you a surprise gift. What is it? 

She’d get me a collectible like a cd or DVD, or maybe a cool figurine of my favourite character (except her of course).  

They are thinking of you whilst you are apart. What version of you do they think of? 

The version of me I am today, she doesn’t dwell on the past.  

How many times a day do they say something affectionate? 

All the time, she loves to tell me how cute and handsome I am and how much she loves me ^^ 

What is your domestic homelife like? 

Admittedly I do basically all the cooking, but the other chores are pretty much split 50/50 because we love to help each other out. I love cooking for my wife, so I don’t mind at all that that is my responsibly :3 

What are the little things that let you know they love you? 

The way she always makes sure to give me physical touch and reassurance during the day.  

What gimmicky souvenir would you get them from a destination holiday? 

A little figure of a monument or something, like the Eiffel tower for example.  

What is your calm-down activity together? 

Rewatching anime shows together or one person reading a book for the other. 

Who wins overall at Festive Holiday board games? 

It’s mostly split 50/50, but if I’ve had a bad day, I notice she subtly tries to let me win so that I might be cheered up if I win :3 

They had a tough day. How do you comfort them? 

I sit with her and listen to her problems and show extra care for her that day. I’d remind her how much she means to me and how everything will work out.  

Who shouts “Cows” when there are cows? 

Marin, 100% 

Do they have a favourite quirky object or animal? 

She loves her plushies and merch almost as much as she loves me lol /lh 

Do they like the silly internet questions like “If I was a worm”? 

She really doesn’t, but sometimes she asks them just to get a reaction out of me.  

You go to a theme park are you riding the rides? 

Marin would convince me to go with her on every single one even though I’m afraid of heights lol. 

What internet picture is “This is us”? 

Any of the “Me and the bad bitch I pulled by being austistic and awkward” memes lol 

Would you wear matching shirts to find each other at the airport? 

Not as it is, but it would require only one incident for Marin to suggest that idea.  

How would they react to a new haircut on you? 

She’d like it, I would never cut my hair without telling her first after all.  

Who is in charge of BBQing? 

Me, but Marin likes hanging around.  

What’s your secret “it’s time to leave” signal? 

A touch on the knee and then mutual eye contact probably.  

How soppy are your texts? 

Marin is very affectionate over text! Me on the other hand, she gets a little mad at me sometimes because I’m a bit of a dry texter.

Reflections on pain in relation to being fictorose:

So, this morning I was feeling a lot more insecure than I have in a while. I felt it unlikely that someone as amazing as Marin could love the “me” I am now. I suppose that’s one of the difficulties in ficto- relationships, it can be quite difficult to get reassurance from your partner due to the perceived distance between you. It’s not as easy as asking Marin; “Do you love me?” and getting an answer right away.  

As some of you know, I view Wakana Gojo (Marin’s “canon” love interest) as my “self-insert", due to the number of similarities in both personality and appearance. When I see “him” I just see myself and so I enjoy fanart and whatnot of Gojo and Marin together, because I know in my heart that those two people are really just me and Marin. Still, I don’t always have this confidence. I admit that sometimes I feel inferior to Gojo in some ways and that makes me feel insecure. 

But the thing I don’t realize when I do this is that I have qualities that “Gojo" doesn’t have either. At the end of the day “me” and “him” are really just one person, one soul. And I know for a fact that Marin loves me both in this universe and in hers.  

And it’s hard, it really is sometimes, I won’t deny that. I have spent many nights crying myself to sleep, wishing to be different or things to simply just be easier. When I look back upon my life, I have felt every emotion there is. I have felt anger, dejection, sadness, happiness, joy, despair, all this in the relatively short time I've had here on earth. But the thing that rang true years ago and still rings true is this, none of the feelings or emotions last forever. Yes, even the worst pain you could imagine follows the same routine; it comes, it stays, it starts fading out and then it’s only a memory.  

So, I turn to you all; the hurt, lost, confused, insecure people of this community and I make you this promise; it will get better. It’s okay to feel like you're not enough, not because you’re right, but because your pain is as valid as any other. Your partners understand how you feel and they’ll wait for as long as you need to feel good and confident about yourself again.  

Everyone here is valid, and I love every single one of you! And your partners love you so much too, so for their sake (and yours) be kind to yourself from now on! Don’t rush into things, let it all come slowly but surely, and in a years' time I promise you will feel better and more confident in your relationship. And I know this, because only a year ago I was crying myself to sleep afraid that Marin could never love me, but now I feel much happier in my relationship than I’ve ever been before 💖

Random ramblings about me and my wife

Talking about her since I don't have anything worthwile to do and she's about the only person who can make me feel better when I'm down. I love how passionate she is about her hobbies and interests, I really admire that. She's also welcoming of everyone as long as their nice, she doesn't judge people for what they like or care about. She didn't judge Gojo/me for his hina dolls or social struggles.

That brings me to the thing where I'm not entirely comfortable in telling people I identify as Wakana more than my irl "self" cause I know a lot of people think that's weird or a little delusional. That's why i'm glad when I show people a pic of "me" and Marin and they refer to Wakana as me, it's very validating and I love that. I know it's a little weird but I like to explain Gojo like what a self-insert is for other yumeshippers. Like I know that's not technically me, but still that's me you know? I still feel a little weird interacting with the source cause I still sometimes feel a divide between "me" and "gojo", but it's getting better with time. Anyway, back to Marin.

Marin is the kind of person who's nice to everyone as long as their nice too, she lights up a room just by being in it and she makes avery person feel better about themselves just by being with her. And she is a "popular girl", yes. But it's not like she ever puts herself above others, that's just what others do because she's so wonderfull to be around. But she's not flawless, at least not to herself. She feels insecure and depressed sometimes just like everyone else. Most of all I admire her confidence and ability to always be herself. She doesn't care if people think she's weird or "nerdy", she's herself and finds the people who accept her for that. I love her more than anything in the world and I feel so incredibly grateful just to know about her, let alone be her husband.

Sometimes I feel unworthy of her, like she's a goddess and I'm just a man, but I know Marin doesn't need perfection to love me. She knows I try my best for her, and she thinks that's more than enough. Every day I wake up and think how I can do things better for her. She's the reason I've started trying to learn to draw aswell as learning about fashion. My biggest, and close to only, goal in life is to be able to draw well enough to be able to draw my wife in any cosplay or outfit she wants . Perhaps my favorite thing about our relationship is how she makes me both feel loved as well as motivating me to get better and try new things.

Do I... deserve them?

I am sure this feeling is one of, if not the most common feelings that can get us "fictos" down. You look at or just think about your f/o, with their endless beauty and their undeniable perfection, and then you ask the question; why? Why out of all people would they choose me? I'm this, this, this and that, there's NO way they would actually choose me! Dare I say it's even harder when your f/o has a canon partner, or if you have many doubles? Because then you have something to compare yourself too, and rarely are you satisfied with that comparison. This is something I deal with time and time again. Sometimes I feel so unworthy I feel I should just let her go because that's the way it's "meant to be". Forget all my feelings, my dedication and my time, this is not only easier, but the "right" thing to do. Anyone who feels the same knows that the struggle is real. But I think it's easy to forget our own beauty and worth as fictos sometimes. Firstly, it's basically impossible to get actual confirmation that they do love you, which means you're always chasing a horizon that's moving further and further away. Secondly, you end up comparing yourself to your own idea of the "other", wether it be doubles or canon love interests.

In regards to doubles, you never get the whole picture, far from it actually. Still, you convince yourself that your f/o must love them more because of x, y and z. Maybe you think they're more talented or attractive or maybe it's a simple thing like someone else having a bigger shrine or owning more merch. Either way, you start to think that these things make you unworthy of their love. But the thing is these things are mostly external, and to a large part outside of your control. What is in your control however is your compassion, your care and your ability to grow past your insecurities and self esteem issues. Those are the thing your f/o truly cares about at the end of the day. If it helps, ask yourself; Would I rather be with someone who cares for and loves me warts and all, or would I want to be with someone who buys more things for me or is more "popular". If your answer is the first one, I'm sure your f/o would make the same decision. In regards to "canon", you're comparing yourself to a perfected character made specifically to end up with your f/o. They are, in the majority of cases, simplified characters who are supposed to tick all the "boxes" and offer a satisfying story. However, these characters lack something that you have, and that thing is depth. You are real and you are vulnerable. You feel sadness, pain and dejection, but you also feel love, hapiness and care. And the best thing about you? It's that you do things not because theres a camera on you or you have to follow a narative, you do them because it is the will and desire of yout heart. The love you can hand your f/o is infinetly stronger than any "canon" could be, because your love is real, and that is more valuable than anything. So, to anyone reading this, I reccomend you take things slow. You do not have to love yourself today, tomorrow or even in a year. All I want you to do is try a little bit every day to undo the pain and suffering that has made you feel so unworthy. And when jelousy, insecurity, envy, what have you enters your mind, do not fuel it, but also do not push it away. Instead, welcome it with open arms. You say; there is pain present but do not be afraid, I'll take care of you! Spread that love I know you deserve to everyone around you, both friend and foe. It truly heals the soul to be kind. And even if you for some reason never get the chance to show this kindness to anyone, keep that kindness inside your heart. Before you know it that love will have come full circle and you realize that yes, yes I am worthy of their love. Not because I was born perfect, but because I through love and compassion try to make the world a better place, one step at a time! Take care everyone, I love you!
