I'm gonna level with you. Still don't have any good recent pics so here are some throwbacks. 5 years ago. In a time when I thought singing "The Circle of life" into a lion's tail was a good idea. Not sure if I was doing it to entertain our guides, who btw were laughing hysterically, or if I was masking my fear. Probably a little of both. In conclusion, happy Thursday. (at Botswana)
Anyone ever stop taking photos of themselves for a bit, then realize you have nothing to post? Here's some pictures from a few weeks back... I'll caption this "I miss summer" ..no wait even better. "Come back, summer.."... Yup let's go with that. 😏 PS I made Joana pose like that for the photo because that's the kind of person I am. Judge me if you please. 😆
Day 9. Went to Gill T island. Wasn't going to post a shirtless pic because I don't have abs. Then I remembered that abs are so 2015... also. I'm good friends with carbohydrates. And everyone knows you don't weigh and measure your friends!! 👊🏼 In conclusion, the best beach body is the one you have now :) So own it!! (at Gili Trawangan Island)
Day 8. You know what's better than Bali?.. Knowledge 😅👊🏼☺
Day 6.5. Exploring Ubud. (at Bali Island, Indonesia)
Day 6. Feeding the fish with my niece, Aria. (at Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple)
Day 5. Safety selfie. (at Ubud Village Bali)
Day 5. Spent most of the day driving from the beach to the jungle. Stopped by a waterfall on the way. #dontgochasingwaterfalls
Day 4.5 Surfing. 2 years ago I tried surfing in Hawaii. I thought I didn't need lessons since... well since my big ego said I didn't need one. Ended up getting tossed around for 1.5 hours. Today was different. Actually got a guide who I called Bob Marley. He helped me ride 2 waves!.. well 1.5 waves since I had to jump off when it started to head into another surfer. #failfwd
Day 3. People come to Bali to chase the philosophies of the book "Eat Pray Love". To find enlighten and peace. I found mine today. It was learning that my fanny pack went with every outfit. I mean EVERY outfit.... also Joana's fam is here now :) I call her Babandaumps
Day 2. Making my way downtown, walking fast, faces pass and I'm homebound... Balinese drivers are super nice. I feel really safe since everyone rides with consideration for others.. never speeding up to cut someone off and ensuring those who position their vehicle first are allowed to continue. Wish it was like this back home. #1000miles
Day 1. Started off with a bevy by the beach... then rode 2 hours during a rainstorm... good times. We also when to a temple for 3 minutes and 30 seconds... that's how long it took Joana to find a monkey and run out. 😅
Day 1. Xiamen, China. Had 10 hours to kill so we walked around. Saw a giant crowd lining up for what looked like a bakery which meant I had to join in. Zero verbal communication unless you count talking at each other. What did work was pointing to their all of their cakes and smiling until they gave me a bag. Best pastries ever. Also Joana took the bus. (at Xiamen, Fujian)

This is my nephew, Zay. Before he was born, my family's time was spent on whatever we wanted to do. Now that he's here, our lives revolve around him. Zay's always the number one priority when it comes to how we spend our time... and I wouldn't have any other way... except when we have to change his poopy diapers. 😅
Project: 1>0. Yes I'll post a video about it. :)
