This past year has been so messed up..between my alcoholism being at its worst, taking hormones for Endo..then trying to quit drinking FINALLY only to develop the most uncontrollable sweet tooth in order to stay off the booze. (Sounds like an excuse, but if you know you know) and then getting off the hormones after that..which brings me to today, about 40 lbs higher than last year. Trying so incredibly hard to be gentle with myself..However, Ana and Mia are here; they always have been. And they are not gentle in the slightest. How many times will I go through this cycle before I either reach some magical UGW I will keep making up, or I die? I want to be proud that I quit drinking, I am proud, but in exchange I basically became addicted to sugar and I hate myself for that. As for the hormones, I wish Iâd never agreed to take them because they didnât help at all with easing pain like âtheyâ claimed. I still ended up having to have surgery AND gained a bunch of weight (but also the sweets obvs) what a JOKE. I must take responsibility though. I was basically at my first GW. Now that is long gone. Slipped through my fingers at the fault of no one but myself. Now Iâm pushing 30 and still chasing that fukking high. Anyway, I have a wedding to attend with my partner in August. My first sober wedding. I will be 20 pounds lighter by then. And I will allow myself one cupcake or something like it. And then Iâll lose 20 more pounds. Good night.
