The thing abt pale killemses is that it's Adam pale w/ both for them at once and vice-versa, but i don't think James & Elyse would be truly pale for Adam if it's not a team up. Moreover, James and Elyse are not pale, Adam is the pale hinge. Peakevic is the most smeary when it comes to the flush vs pale dynamic. They're closer to moisprites than true vacillation. Where as killemses are 100% flipping. Mostly flush, but by god is there moments where there are overwhelming pity in response to a specific event. Their pale feelings need a trigger.

Eylse mostly likes doing drugs w/ James, not in a peer pressure way, but in a "being high w/ my husband is fun"

Adam, however, is the does drugs out of peer pressure guy. He wasn't actually peer pressured, but he felt awkward & left out at first. Then the habit sticks to him pretty bad. (I'm not blaming Peake & James cos it's not their fault on purpose, but technically it is)
