Perfectly Positioned For a Trip to Jalgaon
This hotel is conveniently located for walking to many of the tourist sites of Berlin and is just off the Potsdamer Platz from where every mode of transport around the city or to the rest of Germany is available. The suites we had was on the 10th floor and had a view over the city and plenty of space. The bed was large and separate seating and a desk were provide. There was a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves. The bathroom was spacious, a shower provided over a large bath was powerful and there was plenty of space around the sink area for toiletries. A kitchen area was provided with a small two ring hob and a fridge and sink. Basic crockery and cutlery was provided and pots, etc are available on request. The hotel has a nice bar and we ate in the Facil restaurant on one evening which was excellent, see separate review.Amazing Stay
There are so many good things about this hotel it is hard to list them all. The location is great, you are surrounded by shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff are lovely, they are so helpful on reception and the staff at breakfast were fantastic. The room we had, was amazing, they had thought of everything, iPod, docking station, small kitchen area, lots of hanging/storage space. i already want to return to Berlin as there is so much to see and I will definitely be staying at the Mandala again. A huge thank you to everyone therePerfect location, nice hotel
We had a 60sqm suite at the 8th floor. Fantastic view to the Sony Center and a small balcony. Beside this there is not much to say. We haven't seen many staff members, the front desk and the concierge seemed a little bit confused from time to time, but I guess sh**t happens, also in 5-star-hotels. However, we liked it.
Car parking is accessible via Ludwig-Beck-Strasse. (the signage is pretty poor...)
The Alte Potsdamer Strasse is right behind the Hotel, nice restaurants and bars.
The park Am Gleisdreieck is not far, perfect for the kids and a nice beer garden from a craft brewery. Tiergarten park is also very close, Brandenburger Tor is just a few minutes walk. - We loved the location.
Just a small thing: We found the blankets were more suitable during the winter. To warm for July..

Easy check in friendly staff beautiful design! Upgraded to an executive suite which was fabulous plenty of space felt more like an apartment! c Central location directly opposite the Sony Center! Easy walking distance to all the major attractions although the transport links are very good! I'd recommend walking if able to get a real feeling for the city! Shopping complexes nearby looked amazing although we didn't have time to experience any of them! Have read numerous uncomplimentary reviews, however, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again! We stayed for five nights over the August Bank Holiday.
The hotel is in a perfect location, just off Alexanderplatz. It's easy to get to by any of the methods of transport, and we travelled in via the S Bahn from the airport.
We had a Blue Man Room (Deluxe) facing the TV Tower. The room was very big and the shower room was huge!
We will be booking to return to this hotel. Thank you for a fantastic break.A good value in a great location
The room was nice if somewhat small. It was a nice, quiet part of the hotel and, apart from some noise from the courtyard, we slept well and comfortably. We were there to visit my daughter, who lives right on Alexanderplatz. We were 5 minutes away, and had excellent access to public transport.. It was a nice buffet with American and English style choices, but at 17 euros each, it was not a great deal. There are lots of nice restaurants a short walk away.Excellent hotel
The hotel is located close to Berlin HBF, u-bahn and tram stations The buffet breakfast was too pricey however we opted not to take it as there were some nice bakeries and cafes a few minutes away. If I am in Berlin again (which I will undoubtedly be), I will be staying here!
My elderly mother and I stayed here in September, 2017. The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible from the nearby Potsdamer Platz train station. There are wonderful restaurants and shops all around, and the Opera house is within walking distance. All of the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, fluent in German and English. My mother really wanted to attend an organ concert in Berlin and we asked the staff if they could help us find some options -- by the time we returned from dinner, they had compiled a list of possibilities, complete with addresses, times, and the best way to get there. Very impressive! Our room was enormous! Very comfortable and luxurious. My mother did find it challenging to use the shower because it was quite high and had no grab bars. We weren't able to dine in the Michelin star restaurant (next time!), but the bar restaurant Qui, was delightful, reasonably priced, with good service. Nice selection of wines. I will definitely return to the Mandala!
