How can you complain about money one post and fill a commission space immediately in the next? You need to think before you post conflicting stuff like that. My best friend is an artist, a traditional one at LEAST as good as you but no one knows about her art. So she doesn’t get commissions. And you’re here doing DIGITAL work that is NOT cheap, and still complaining.

i can do so because filling a $95 portrait slot, of which i keep a little under $60 after taxes, shipping & materials, unfortunately does not negate existing debt or stop continued existence from costing money 😬

i hope you and your friend can come to learn that artists doing custom work are not in direct competition with one another like you seem to believe - your friend and i can exist and even profit in the same space/niche - even the same clients - with our differing styles

i do a lot of referral work when potential clients mistake my art for traditional - lifting up other artists who work in different ways than i do

please unfollow and block me on both blogs and curate your tumblr experience in whatever way you need to in order that you do not see or interact with my content anymore
