Fray has always been a bit of an outcast. She accidentally comes across as unnerving in social situations, but she doesn't mean to be intimidating. She's always wanted friends more than anything in the world. However, her sickly appearance and abnormal mannerisms make this difficult. A lot of people find her to be more trouble than she's worth.
This was before she met Deedee and Lithium.
Lithium has never truly confronted his romantic feelings for Fray, but Fray has very much fallen for Deedee, who is actively using her affection against her as revenge for Lithium preferring Fray over Deedee. Not for no reason. Deedee is manipulative and doesn't really care about Fray's wellbeing. She uses Fray's loyalty to her advantage in exchange for gifts, odd jobs, and favours. Fray pretends she doesn't mind but really this is the only love she's ever known.
Lithium is torn. Will he continue to pursue his goal of exacting revenge on Mia or does he prioritize his own suffering love?
Would Fray even want that from him?
Fray is creepy. That's the best way to describe them, I can't summarize it better. Kind of an accidental buzzkill, generally pessimistic and HEAVILY reliant on others (specifically Deedee) for personal validation. If she isn't good to Deedee, Fray genuinely thinks she's no good at all. She finds all her self worth in what she can do for those she cares about and when Lith isn't around, that automatically goes to Deedee.
Fray is employed if you count just doing repairs on clothing items. She doesn't own a shop or anything, but she's one of the employees. People tend to find her in the back where she knows she won't bother her coworkers.
In her spare time, Fray is always doing something or other for Deedee's approval. Half the time they don't even make much sense. "Go fetch this" or "tell somebody that" type tasks that Deedee just doesn't want to deal with. As long as she can ensure Fray's loyalty by testing it constantly. Aside from that, Fray loves to make stuffed dolls. They're cute.
