It’s February, which means it’s Black History Month! Similar to how I made an LGBTQ+ resource post for Native American Heritage Month in November, here are some resources for Black LGBTQ+ people (as always, feel free to contribute if you have more resources!)

Sniper HC:

Everytime he’s outside and sees any kind creature he’s got to give it a name. “That squirrel on that tree stump over there is Rodney, lil scamp looks like he’s on his way to Paula’s house. That’s his lil girlfriend. Boy Paula’s gonna give him the boot if he comes home empty handed again. Poor bugger.”. Watching people through a scope all day seeing their boring lives gets tedious so looking at the wildlife near by making and up your own dialog might help you stay awake. Sniper keeps up on a few of the animals he names if he gets bored and feels like taking a hike he might stubble upon a few new faces to name. “Oh look its the Robinsons (a family of robins) hows them lil chicks Brenda and Harold….aw look at that about ready to fly.”. *seeing some deer in the distance* “lovely horns Benny boy look out for Derrick. His horns came in a bit early not that your sheila seems to mine…she like you eh?”. *flock of geese waddle thru* “Hello ol girls! G'day Gerty, hows the kids Suzan? Lovely down Lori, and misses Fiona.”. Most of the time Sniper watches in silence but if the animals approach him he’ll talk to them. *Sniper sits on an old dead log sharpening his kukuri. A tiny little chipmunk hops in front of him and chirps a bit* “‘Ello Donnie. Run into a bit of trouble again?”. *chipmunk chirps louder more forcefully* “ Did Flynn set you up to this?”. *chirps faster*. “Gah…fine. *reaches into his pocket pulling out some sunflower seeds* I’ll bail ya out this time mate. Don’t go tellin Tony ya got it from me…Got a reputation to uphold. What would Lucy think of ya huh hehehe?”. *chipmunk munches happily and with quick agilile paws, pulls away the shells* “hehehe lil bugger”.
