Good. After experiencing Ramadan through my study of Islam, I went on to discover fasting as prescribed in the Bible. I was familiar with Lent because my father, an alcoholic, would faithfully give up drinking alcohol for those 40 days. That was the only practice I saw him specifically observe in connection with his Catholic faith teachings.
