My youngest kiddo asked me to make him a striped hat! No problem. My girl Cassie❤️🐶 One month and a day after bringing Cassie home, and it feels like she's been here forever. She sleeps quietly on her mat on my side of the bed every night.She is truly a perfect dog. Quiet, but always alert, never aggressive, smart, obedient,and playful. More time to knit?!?!⏰I don't know what lies ahead, but I guess I'll press on, and see what happens. I was asked to take on a different roll at work, and it's changed a lot of things for me. For the first time in my nursing career I'm working a Monday thru Friday, no weekend, no holidays hustle. It's both good, and bad. My kids are well adjusted, and finally don't need me full time. I worked night shift for most of my 22 year career so our kids would always have a parent at home. This job gives me more time with my husband, and for that I'm grateful. Now I just have to adjust to rush hour traffic, having a clean uniform 5 days a week, and the dreaded alarm clock for 5 days in a row. #nursesofinstagram #knitting #knittingaddict #knittersofinstagram

I can't believe I'm considering doggie day for these 2. Somebody is finding it hard to stay home by during the day (pss, the one with the britches to cover his wanker). I'm tired of moping. Trying really hard to master the art of meal prep. Now that I will be leaving for work a little later, and coming home in time for dinner, l want to make the best of it. That means not spending hours after work cooking dinner, and I want to have breakfast before I head out in the morning. With every weekend off, I could get back into running, and my new dog Cassie is the perfect running partner.
