Autumn has always represented a time in my life of transformation. When I look back on my memories on Facebook it’s clear that this time of year is about change for me and letting go. Always around this time is when, whatever is happening around me is preparing me for something bigger and better. As I reflect back on the past years I find myself excited to get to the next step — to find out what God has in store for me. Today was one of the best days I’ve had in a very long time — over the last few months I’ve done a lot of reflecting and with time, tears, family and good friends who stayed by my side and loved me no matter who I was that I’ve gotten stronger, refocused and ready to get back to living again. A dear and “anonymous” friend thought this would make a nice gift for me and wanted to help support me and my goals. The older I get the more I begin to realize that there are people in this world who have money but they’re mean, unkind and horrible people who don’t care about anyone else but themselves — these are the people who don’t do anything out of the kindness of their hearts or without strings attached.
