FIRST OF ALL, THANK YOU!!!! You are my FIRST ask EVER! This is so wonderful. I do have a short history in Dance! I first learned partnering ballet technique 3 years ago (although I was more "assisting" than partnering with the girl so I didn't really learn ballet), I then had a friend of mine who danced for 15 years teach me ballet with private lessons for roughly a year. And in that time joined a dance team at my university. (Although the dance team is not ballet-specific, it's more lyrical and modern). Then, just recently I've started taking professional lessons at a studio near my university so that has been wonderful and can't wait to get to the point where I can partner with the company ballerinas at the studio. SO, it is a short history. And I'm still learning so many new things with every lesson, but I love it so much and it's beautiful and graceful and ugh it's so great!

You are the conductor of your own dreams, the creator of your wildest imaginations. You are who you are because of the choices you have made. It is okay to want something greater than yourself. It is okay to be frightened by your own dreams. Do not ever let someone tell you that you're not good enough. If you honestly, whole heartedly want something, go and take it! You're a force to be reckoned with in a world full of endless possibilities. It's also okay to fail. It's okay to mess up along the way. It's never going to a perfect trip but that doesn't mean it can't be a perfect destination. The road will be challenging, but that same road doesn't know just how tough you can be. You will get knocked down, but you will get back up stronger each time.
