Hazbin fans, I got a question

So, does anyone remember in Helluva Boss, when Striker kidnapped Stolas in Western Energy, Stolas couldn’t use his magic to escape because of the Angelic Steel bindings?

How come Carmilla could use her magic in season 2’s finale? Like, is it external logic of the show like they forgot or the leg bindings don’t count? Or is there an internal show logic to it like Sinner magic and Demonic magic are two different things, and Angelic steel only cancels demonic magic?

Which brings up its own discussion of how demonic vs sinner magic works.

Or is it like open circle vs closed circle? Like it’s fully tying Stolas up so he can’t move but because she can still move it doesn’t apply?

Is it additional evidence of the fallen angel theory?

Is it like angelic steel percentage based? More angelic steel being put into the rope fibers than the ribbon fibers?

Anyone else got any other ideas? I’m curious
