The village had been quiet for quite some time now. Little activity stirred there other the occasional lycan or other creatures that lurked the deserted and trashed village. The werewolf had left her domain of the Stronghold, the den of the lycans that Mother Miranda bestowed onto her after bringing her into this strange congregation of people. She was not seen as a sibling by the rest, she was merely there to assist Heisenberg and his lycan army in exchange for her safety from her foes in the outside world.
A great idea at first but soon found out the truth of Mother Mirandaās plans through Heisenberg and findings of latter experiments. Her loyalty for the deity-esque being was diminished upon learning this, her loyalty bestowed to Heisenberg in assisting him with his future plans.
She soon entered the village, hands dug deep into her pockets to find a cigarette and a lighter. She brought the item to her lips and lit it, inhaling before exhaling the smoke through her nose. Why must the village be so dull and boring? She thought, roaming the village until finding herself in the main square. Not too long after she had arrived, she heard the mixture of snarls from the lycans.Ā
Wonder what they had gotten into now? Curiosity drove her to the sounds, the snarls getting louder until she heard what appeared to be a human. Someone was left? This had to be interesting. As she turned the corner, she saw a few of the lycans trying to attacking a human woman. She whistled, the lycans looking back and growled but obeyed the Lord.Ā āHuh, didnāt realize we still had people hidingāā she began, approaching the woman before noticing how foreign she was to the village.
Her brows raised slightly as she drew in another drag of the cigarette before exhaling,Ā āYouāre from the outside world, arenāt you?ā she interrogated the redhead.

Ā Ā Ā There shouldnāt have even been a surprise that her mission went south almost as soon as she had started it. The job was to find some missing reporter and recover the intel they had gathered on the odd rumors that had begun circulating around the strange village. Ghost stories had bubbled up like forgotten relics in a battle worn mire as it became even more difficult to make contact with the denizens. While some parts of the world moved on, others remained shrouded in their old, secretive ways.Ā
Ā Ā Ā The reporter had been sent to investigate but had gone quiet after a while and the mercenaryās client worried valuable information would be lost forever. Word had gotten to them about her willingness to take on most jobs and she was being paid a comfortable amount to seek out the information. As for the missing employee, well, hopefully they didnāt die in vain. It was a cruel world and she was all too familiar with people being expendable. It all seemed simple enough. The surprise came when she came across the feral-like humans that reacted like a pack of starving dogs.Ā
Ā Ā Ā But, luck was on her side when she came across the newest lord, Kekipi. Sheād become alpha of the lycans and had thankfully called them off for the time being. Faye could only assume the reporter was dead considering she was a trained killer and barely escaped the creatures. It took her a moment to gather her thoughts as she nodded, standing her ground.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āY-yes,ā she replied simply, looking around at the creatures, just waiting to tear into her soft flesh with sharpened nails and teeth. Her eyes slowly drifted back to their alpha as she thought over her next words carefully. One wrong word and sheād be having dinner with the grim reaper.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI came here to find a missinā person. They were sent to learn of some of the rumors and ghost stories that had made it back to more....civilized areas. I didnāt come to start any kind of trouble,ā her hands shifted up, palms in view to show she was completely surrendering to her.
