REBLOG IF YOU THINK THE PERSON YOU REBLOGGED THIS FROM PLAYS THEIR CHARACTER FLAWLESSLY.
(Most definitely)
Your move
You allow him to pick you up this time, the surprise minimal, but your face still hidden in his skin as you compose yourself. It’s a bit difficult, you’re not use to being this emotional in front of anyone, not even Disciple or your mother. Lifting your head back to look at him, the tears mostly gone, faint red marks on your cheeks the only sign that they were there in the first place, you quickly connect your lips with his, holding the kiss for a second and pulling away right before he sits down with you in settled in his lap.
Being a curious troll, you can’t help but wonder exactly how he did it, how he got away from her Imperial Condescension without getting caught or them knowing where he went. You decided you would ask about it later, for you were a bit busy at the moment; learning could come after the reunion.
The air circulating through your hive is warm, a little too warm. You take your arms away from his neck to unclasp the cloak that was still hanging around your shoulders, usually you would have taken it off as soon as you got back, but the distraction was more important. You tug on the fabric, letting it slide off you and end up a light gray puddle in the floor. The clothes you wore were different than your usual apparel, having found a liking to skin tight t-shirts and pants.
You press against him and run thin fingers through his hair, planting small kisses down the side of his head and his neck, “Thank you,”
>You run one hand up his back, the other reaching up to undo your own cloak. It slides down enough that you’re not burning up anymore. You take a second to look at what he’s wearing. It’s different from what he wore last time. It looks good on him.
>You smile softly at the kisses he starts showering you with. You relax and let him kiss where he wants. When he gets too close to your gills you twitch and move away a bit. They’re sensitive and having someone so close to them, even someone you trust and love, has you embarrassed and blushing
I don’t mind ya kissin’ wwherevver ya wwant, but my gills are as sensitivve noww as they wwere last time ya poked at ‘em so…
In order to hide the purple staining your cheeks you lean forward and kiss his cheek. You don’t mind the idea of him kissing or touching your gills, he was gentle enough last time that you trust him, but it’s too soon for that and where it would inevitably lead. You want to go slowly and build this relationship properly.
Your lips are lingering on the edge of bis gills when you feel him move and the first thoughts flashing through your head are how you’ve done something wrong, that is until he is talking to you. How you forgot his gills were one of the most sensitive things on his body, You didn’t know, you thought you would never forget about that first time, but it was buried by the moment you were having with him now. You lift your head and avert your eyes to your lap, the abashed red flush returning to your face and the tip of your ears.
You let your arms drop from around his neck and onto your thighs where you stare down at them, trying to find some way to take yourself out of this awkward silence. Stray locks of hair fall into your face, covering your eyes as you let out a nervous laugh.
“I apologize, I didn’t mean to cause you discomfort.”
>You shake your head and push the hair out of his eyes. He didn't make you uncomfortable, not really. You just hadn't expected to have anything near your gills. You catch his chin between your fingers and tilt his head up, kissing him quickly.
Ya didn't make me uncomfortable. Really. It's alright. It's just...wwe both knoww wwhere it could go and, wwell...I wwanna wwait before goin' there.
>You run your fingers through his hair and press soft kisses to his cheeks and lips. You didn't want him to think he'd done something wrong when he hadn't. You nuzzle against him and smile softly. Even though you're embarrassed you're still happy. He's here, so you're happy.
Your move
You gasp, the sharp intake of breath a result of being lifted without warning. Your arms instinctively tighten around his neck as if to keep you from falling, even though you knew he wouldn’t drop you, he was strong enough to hold you up. Soon, the shock of it all wears away quickly, your surprised expression replaced by a genuinely blithe grin, and your eyes flashing with, what you could only explain as, excitement.
You couldn’t say in words, no matter how much you wanted to, what you felt, it was a strange mixture of nerves and pure happiness, pretty much alien to you altogether. Sure you’ve been happy in the past, around your mother and friends, but not like this; it was never this strong.
As he lets you down, your boots make a barely audible thud against the hard wood floor. You lean up on your toes to return the short lived kiss, staring at him lovingly when he pulls away. A breathy chuckle escapes your lips and you find yourself in a situation where tears are once again stinging your eyes. It’s embarrassing, you don’t want him to witness you crying over this, so you bury your face in his neck, the faintest red flush creeping along your cheeks.
“I love you too, so much, and I hope you keep your word, I don’t know how I would react to you leaving a second time.”
>You stand there and hold him. He’s warm and soft and everything you’ve been dreaming about since the day you left. You listen to him and it hits you. You weren’t the only one who was hurt when you had to leave. You run your fingers through his hair and think. The last sweep and a half have been lonely for the both of you.
I ain’t leavvin’ you. I only left last time cause I didn’t havve a choice, this time I ain’t gotta leavve. I ain’t gotta go back. They ain’t gonna miss me this time.
>You can’t help but grin. You had planned this out, the way you had left was brilliant and no one was really going to question it. Hopefully. You lean down and slip an arm under his legs, lifting him bridal style. He’s small enough to carry easily, but big enough that he could probably knock you on your ass. You remember most of the layout of his place so you walk into the living room and sit down on the couch, holding him in your lap and burying your face in his neck. You just want to be able to hold him without worrying about your legs getting tired.
You allow him to pick you up this time, the surprise minimal, but your face still hidden in his skin as you compose yourself. It’s a bit difficult, you’re not use to being this emotional in front of anyone, not even Disciple or your mother. Your move
Your grip in his hair tightens, one of your legs moving forward a bit so your knee is settled between his. You’re too shy to deepen the kiss, so once a few more seconds go by, you break again, this time not planning on going back into it, instead there is something else on your mind. Something extremely important that you should both talk about before going any farther.
Your arms remain loosely draped over his neck as you take a small step back so you can look up at him comfortably. It takes you a minute to find the words, causing you to stare at Isidro until you can think of exactly what to say. For you, it’s a bit awkward, your mouth opening, then closing again, and your lips pursing.
Finally, you just decide to come out and ask, clearing your throat first to make sure your voice wouldn’t crack or do anything you didn’t want it too, you were nervous, but you didn’t want your words to show it, even though your eyes are doing a pretty good job at deceiving you. “Isidro, do you mind me asking…what we are?”
>When he steps forward and his knee settles between your legs you feel your heart rate pick up. You can’t help the thoughts racing through your mind. None of those thoughts happen though and he breaks the kiss. You smile softly at him.
>He’s staring at you and not saying anything. The way he keeps opening and closing his mouth, obviously struggling for words, well it worries you. You immediately think that he’s going to tell you this was a mistake and that you should leave.
>He looks nervous as he clears his throat and that makes you nervous as well. His question throws you for a loop. You should have expected it but you didn’t and you really don’t know how to answer it. You think for a moment and try to put your words together before answering.
Wwell…honestly I’m nota all that sure wwhat wwe are. I knoww wwhat I’d like us ta be but…well…I’m a little nervvous. I’vve nevver been in any kind a relationship before and I don’t know wwhere ta start or wwhere ta go from here. I missed ya. Ivve wwanted ta find ya and just be close, but I wwas, and still am, afraid that you might not wwant me at all or wwant ta be wwith someone wwho’s so nervvous and inexperienced wwith pretty much evverything relationship-wwise…
>You trail off with a sigh. You know you’re rambling and that your words aren’t making much sense. There’s more you need to say but you decide to wait until you know how he feels. You want to have this relationship with him, but you want it to be based off mutual feelings.
You listen intently to his every word, your fingers messing with his hair as he spoke to you and your eyes slowly averting away from his face to stare at the gills on his neck. The most prominent parts of his mini speech were the fact that he wanted to be with you and him being afraid that you didn’t feel the same way. When that was said, you snapped your head up to meet his gaze quickly, a small frown finding it’s way to your lips.
How could he be afraid of your feelings toward him? You waited for over a sweep to see him again, your dreams at night flooded with images of the sea dweller, both of the good and the bad. You loved him unconditionally and you needed him to realize that. Because he was inexperienced and nervous meant nothing to you just because you were the same way, never have had a real relationship with anyone before, but as long as you were both happy, that’s the most important thing.
You tilt your body forward, getting on your toes to press a soft kiss against his lips and holding it there for a long moment, you hoped that he understood what the gesture meant and that it wasn’t just a simple comforting kiss, but nevertheless, you explained yourself anyway.
“Isidro, do you think I’ve had many relationships since our last encounter? I’m just as if not more inexperienced than you, for I spent over a sweep waiting on you to come back, you’re all I wished to see for what seemed like an eternity. Now you’re home and I want nothing more than to be with you until my life meets its inevitable end.”
>You notice the small frown he has when you speak and you’re worried that maybe you said the wrong thing. Your thoughts start to race and you wonder how you can salvage this. You truly do love him deeply and the idea of not being with him scares you. You feel like you need him, like not having him in your life was the worst possible thing that could happen.
>Between the soft kiss and his words you find yourself unable to speak. When he says that you’re home you know you made the right choice in leaving everything behind for him. You know that you’re grinning like an idiot but you can’t help it. You tighten your hold on him and lift him before spinning in a circle, setting him down, and kissing him. You’re giggling softly when you pull away.
I lovve you Kaeleb. I lovve you and I ain’t leavvin’ cause I missed ya way to much ta be away from ya again.
>Your voice is soft but you mean every word you say. There is a definite edge to your voice, but its born of love and how much you had missed him. Without him you had been lonely beyond belief but you were here now and everything was going right.
You gasp, the sharp intake of breath a result of being lifted without warning. Your arms instinctively tighten around his neck as if to keep you from falling, even though you knew he wouldn’t drop you, he was strong enough to hold you up. Your move
Not even a second goes by after you turn around, smiling at him, that you are taken by surprise when he pulls you close. Though, the gesture isn’t unwelcome and as soon as he’s kissing you, you are wrapping your arms around his neck and returning it eagerly. It had been too long and the small kiss in the square didn’t satisfy you, not in the least. Not a single thought flooded your think pan other than, you missed him, you want him to hold you, you want to know that he is there until the day you die.
You tilt your body into him, loosely threading your fingers between his black locks, pressing yourself as close as you can and holding the kiss for a moment longer before pulling away, even too soon for yourself. Your gaze meets his, your stomach filling to the brim with nerves, and your blood pusher beating fast in your chest, just by looking at Isidro, imagine what it’ll do to you when you go farther than simply locking lips. You lean your head forward again and reconnect the kiss, this time taking it slow, savoring each minute you’re both together.
>You tighten your hold on him, one hand clinging to his cloak the other resting on his lower back. Just having him close enough to hold is sending your head spinning. You open your eyes when he breaks the kiss and smile shyly. You never thought this would actually happen. You had been convinced he would just tell you to forget what had happened and that being friends would be best. You still weren’t sure what you were to him but right now you were content.
>You close your eyes as he kisses you. It’s a simple kiss but it takes your breath away. You tilt your head to the side and return the kiss. There aren’t any more thoughts in your head or room for them. All that you know is he’s here, kissing you, and that’s enough for you.
Your grip in his hair tightens, one of your legs moving forward a bit so your knee is settled between his. You’re too shy to deepen the kiss, so once a few more seconds go by, you break again, this time not planning on going back into it, instead there is something else on your mind. Your move
You remain there for a moment longer, watching as everyone leaves, a few trolls weaving their way through the crowd to approach you and your beloved sea dweller, they told you how odd it was to have a royal blood around, saying as long as he doesn’t try to slay you, they wouldn’t do anything to harm him. You chuckle and nod, thanking them and observing them as they leave you. It wasn’t surprising how many trolls wanted to protect you, you were of course attempting to rid them of a treacherous future.
You glance at the royal blood and nod, a smile on your lips despite the obvious danger as you return the pressure on your hand with a gentle one of your own. Looking around, most have already gone, which meant you had less than ten minutes to get home. Without another hesitant moment, you pull him in the direction of your hive, letting go of his hand to you can go from a jog to a sprint. You have to go as fast as you can, you were use to this, it’s what you did after every sermon, running was one of the things that kept you as lean as you are, although some might not see it healthy to be as thin as you at your age.
You know the other is following you, so you don’t look back to check, your eyes are focused on the familiar scene ahead. As you grow closer to your hive, you don’t slow down until you are in safer territory, but even then all your sprint dwindles to is a fast paced jog. Your abode wasn’t far and as soon as you get at the front door, you stop and open it, waiting for Isidro to go in first before letting yourself inside and securing the metal barrier.
>You’re not surprised by the people who are worried about him or your relationship with him. He’s important to many people and to them you’re just another potential threat.
>You follow him as he leads you towards his hive. When he drops your hand you speed up, matching his pace and running right beside him. You don’t really pay too much attention to the scenery. You’re too busy worrying about keeping up with him. When he opens the door you dart inside. You lean against one of the walls, slightly out of breath. The run didn’t wind you, it was the fear of getting caught.
>Once you catch your breath you move away from the wall and step forward. You wrap your arms around his waist and pull him close. You nuzzle against his cheek before kissing him softly. You missed him so much and right now all you want is to be close to him, to hold him and know that this is actually real.
Not even a second goes by after you turn around, smiling at him, that you are taken by surprise when he pulls you close. Though, the gesture isn’t unwelcome and as soon as he’s kissing you, you are wrapping your arms around his neck and returning it eagerly. You had been convinced he would just tell you to forget what had happened and that being friends would be best. You still weren't sure what you were to him but right now you were content.
>You close your eyes as he kisses you. It's a simple kiss but it takes your breath away. You tilt your head to the side and return the kiss. There aren't any more thoughts in your head or room for them. All that you know is he's here, kissing you, and that's enough for you.
Your move
You press into his touch and meet his gaze, nodding at him, but remaining quiet, to anyone else it would seem that you might be afraid to talk to him, but that wasn’t it at all, you were afraid that if you did say something, your voice would crack, change into a high pitched sound that you would get nothing out of other than embarrassment of being around him and your followers when it happened. You were sure if you spoke now, no one would take you as seriously ever again.
The fact that he was trying to soothe you brought brought the biggest smile to your expression, tears falling against your cheeks and streaking down to your mouth so that when he kisses you, you can taste them. When he presses his lips to yours, it’s surprising to say the least, but you don’t back out of it, instead lean into it, ignoring the shocked gasps. Honestly, you can’t believe everyone is still watching the both of you, but it must be because you and the sea dweller are the most interesting part of the night.
A hand traces up the curve of his neck and slides into his hair as you return his kiss as passionately as you could, but keeping it short due to limited time. You knew the Empress would find you soon, which means she would find Dualscar and probably separate you both if you didn’t leave soon. The kiss is as amazing as it was the first time because after so long without having him, it was pretty much your first time all over again. You are reluctant to pull away, but you know you have to for a number of reasons, one you were both in a very public place and two, you didn’t have much time.
>You can taste his tears in the kiss, they’re odd and you don’t like them but it’s not enough to make you pull away. Not yet. He’s as passionate as you remember, even from your single night so long ago. It’s amazing and it reminds you exactly why you waited and searched so long for him after you were separated.
>You’re embarrassed by the soft whine that slips from you when the kiss is broken but you quickly cover it up with a breathless laugh and hope that no one heard it. You can’t hide the slight violet flush on your cheeks, but that can be passed off as being cold if anyone calls you on it. You run you hand over his cheek again, still smiling happily. You kiss his cheek quickly the pull away. A loud sound is echoing through the air and it’s one you know all too well. The trumpets that announce the royal army marching out of town. Since they’re just now starting to sound you estimate that you have maybe fifteen minutes to disappear.
Wwe should go. Wwouldn’t wwanna be caught out here.
>You smile to hide that fact that you’re beyond nervous. You’re scared. Not for you, well not only for you, but for him as well. This is the first time you’ve ever been in danger of being caught at one of these gatherings and you know that if the two of you are caught together the punishment will be worse for the both of you.
You chuckle softly at the quiet whine that you are sure only you heard, though you really wouldn’t be surprised if anyone else heard it due to everyone’s close proximity to the both of you. Your cheeks are as flushed as his as you lean into his hand, treasuring the moment as if it was your last, but as soon as you heard the trumpets sounding, the whispers in the crowd got louder until someone shouted your name, telling you the Empress’ drones would be coming soon. You looked back at him and nodded, standing up and dusting yourself off before holding your hand out to dualscar.
“It’s a Ten minute run back to my hive, if we leave now, she’ll be less likely to catch us.”
The others around you waited for your last word, just as they had several times before, they were waiting on the call to flee or to stay and fight. You weren’t nervous, for you have been in this situation countless times and every time no one had been lost.
“We have to leave before she gets here, tonight we won’t stay and fight to the deaths, there is no point, but someday there will be and I will make sure to stay alive in order to see that day out.”
You weren’t one to fight, but you knew it was coming, you knew you’d find yourself in the middle of a large battle that would seem to go on forever, but you wouldn’t let that happen until you knew you were ready for it. Looking back at Dualscar, there was no way you were ready to fight, not now, not when he was alive and with you.
>You stand and take his hand, squeezing it. His hive, you remember it well and you’ve walked that area of town more times than you can count. It seems safe enough and you know that no one there will tell anyone where the two of you are.
>He delivers his orders with a practiced ease and you know that he’s done this before. You stay close to him as the crowd begins to disperse, running and hiding and going in different and confusing directions. It’s brilliant and you don’t worry about any of them getting caught. They know what they’re doing. You seem to be the only one new to this whole process. You squeeze his hand again and meet his gaze. You weren’t sure what he was thinking, but you were glad that there would be no fighting this night. You really weren’t prepared for something like that. Not yet.
Shall wwe go then?
>You're not surprised by the people who are worried about him or your relationship with him. He's important to many people and to them you're just another potential threat.
>You follow him as he leads you towards his hive. When he drops your hand you speed up, matching his pace and running right beside him. You don't really pay too much attention to the scenery. You're too busy worrying about keeping up with him. When he opens the door you dart inside. You lean against one of the walls, slightly out of breath. The run didn't wind you, it was the fear of getting caught.
>Once you catch your breath you move away from the wall and step forward. You wrap your arms around his waist and pull him close. You nuzzle against his cheek before kissing him softly. You missed him so much and right now all you want is to be close to him, to hold him and know that this is actually real.

>You hear the strange mix of silence and whispers and you know it’s you that they’re all talking and thinking about. It would make you self concious if you weren’t so focused on the troll in your lap. The little mutant preacher that had changed your life and claimed a spot in your heart.
>You bring a hand up and run your thumb under his eyes, wiping away the tears that have gathered there. The way he’s clinging to you like you’re going to leave again pulls at your heart and you know after tonight you’ll be hard pressed to find a reason to do anything but stay by his side. After so long of not seeing him, of fearing for his life every time you heard about an attack on one of his sermons, you’re done being seperated from him. You’re here to stay for as long as he wants you here.
Don’t cry, ain’t no reason for tears.
>Your voice is soft but the calm effect is ruined by the fact there are a few tears gathering in your eyes as well. You stare at him, your eyes taking in every detail from the tips of his rounded horns to the soft curve of his neck where it hid just under his cape. Without thinking about it you move forward and you’re kissing him. His lips are as soft as you remember them being and you can’t bring yourself to care that you’re in public. All that exists is him. Everything else can wait. He’s important. The rest of the world doesn’t matter at all right now.

>It’s loud and the way people are screaming is starting to hurt you head. You focus on him and see him stare. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea. Maybe you shouldn’t have come here. You can’t stop the thoughts that were racing through your head.
‘Wwell done you blasted fool. He probably nevver wwanted ta see ya again and noww here ya are. Standin’ right here remindin’ ‘im a evverything he wwas probably tryin’ ta forget about ya. You’re a damned fool and…oh, he’s huggin’ ya. Fuck, didn’t see that comin’
>You hadn’t really been paying attention so when he launched himself at you, hugging you tightly you stumbled and fell backwards with a highly undignified squeak. You managed to land first and mumbles something about your ass and the ground was luck it was soft before looking at him. How long had it been? A sweep and a half since you’d last seen him. A full sweep and a half since you’d been this close to him.
> Maybe it’s not the best idea to be here but suddenly you don’t care about that. All you know is he doesn’t seem to hate you for being here and that’s enough for you. You wrap your arms around him, a slow grin forming. God you missed him. You missed him more then words could say. The amount of poems you had written about him and how much you wanted him around attested to that.
Hey there. D’ja miss me?
>It sounds stupid even as you say it, but it’s all you can think of to say at the moment. For once in your life you’re almost completely wordless. You lean forward slightly so that no one but him hears what you say next. It’s not for anyone else to hear or know.
I missed ya. Missed ya more than ya know.
You hold onto him tighter as you both fallback, your legs straddling his lap, and your knees smacking hard to the ground. His squeak would’ve made you chuckle if you hadn’t been hissing at the slight pain shooting through your thighs.
The other trolls around you stared, most of them silent now, some of them exchanging soft whispers, loud enough to be known, but not enough so to comprehend. You didn’t care what they were saying though, the most important troll to ever grace your life with his presence was here now and not even crude gossip or muffled objections could take him away from you. Not now, not when you haven’t seen his face in so long.
When he’s talking to you, you have to blink back pastel tears that were threatening to escape, clutching at the fabric of his clothes as if he would disappear if you let go. You see others looking at you curiously, obviously worried about you, but they don’t say anything, not with a royal blood around.
“I missed you too, I missed you so much.”
>You hear the strange mix of silence and whispers and you know it's you that they're all talking and thinking about. It would make you self concious if you weren't so focused on the troll in your lap. The little mutant preacher that had changed your life and claimed a spot in your heart.

Nervous. That’s how you felt. Nervous and cold and a little excited as well. Nervous was to be expected. You were breaking the law. You, Isidro Ampora also known as Dualscar, Captain in the Royal Navy, were breaking the law. You believed in your reasons though and that was enough to keep you going. Tonight you would see him again. You would hear him preach and you would walk away remembering his words, his face, everything about the night. The same as every other sermon you had attended.
The wind cut through you and you cursed aloud. This time of year you should be wearing clothes that actually protected you, but instead you were wearing cheap commoners clothing. You would be less likely to stand out in faded browns and worn greens.
It takes you longer than you thought it would to get there, but since you had to leave the city itself you’re not too surprised by this. You manage to get there sooon after it starts. He can’t be too far into it yet. He always seems to take his time building up what he’s saying and really getting the crowd into it.
You start moving through the crowd, wanting only to get close enough to see and hear properly. He’s the reason you came out. His teachings, his ideas, the one time you had actually spoken to him. It affected you and you were different for it. You were open-minded because of it.
Your progress through thr crowd is cut short when you feel a sharp tug at the end of your cloak. Someone had stepped on the edge of it and you could feel it pulling against your neck uncomforteably. There was a hushed apology that was swallowed by a surprised gasp. A few seconds of silence then the reaction you had feard. Several trolls had caught a glimpse of your face and fins when your hood slid back and now they were screaming and scurrying away from you. You freeze where you are. You’ve never been very good at dealing with crowds. Being the center of attention was great when you had the advantage of actually wanting it, but you weren’t sure what to do now.
You ended up just standing there, glacing around then back up at where he stood. Screw nervous. Now you were actually a little on the scared side. You weren’t sure how the crowd would react and you certainly werne’t sure how he’d react. Your thoughts were racing and you did’t know whether to stay or leave as quickly as possible.
Your cloak swayed subtly as the cool breeze danced around you, sending goosebumps along your thinly covered arms and torso. It was colder than usual tonight, but that didn’t stop you; you still came out to talk to the trolls who were willing to listen as you always did, you weren’t one to stop a sermon short for anything as minor as a bit of cold weather.
Keeping your eyes on the crowd, you stayed alert to any signs or warning of danger, knowing the Empress’s drones would be around as soon as word was spread to her that you were hear. To the Condesce, you were an abomination, as you were to most higher on the blood caste, the ones who didn’t believe in equality among your species. It was sad really, to witness such a power hungry female who would probably be alone for the thousands of sweeps she’s allowed to live, someone who wouldn’t be surrounded by the joy of friends and warmth, but instead crowded by bitter trolls and murder.
As you spoke to everyone, your voice was cut off by a shrill scream of terror and your blood instantly ran cold. They were here, the Empress more than likely found you just as she had countless times before, but you were usually gone, this time, you’d have no chance of fleeing, there wasn’t a big enough time gap. Your eyes scanned the crowd, looking for the point of disturbance, and stopping on the clearing spot where one troll stood alone.
Your breath caught, the shouts and yelling around you fading out as you simply stared, shocked beyond belief to see him there. You didn’t think you would ever see him again, didn’t believe he would ever be in front of you again, yet here he was, obviously as stunned as you were, but for a different reason.
Before you even knew what your were doing, you jumped off your pedestal, into the closely pressed trolls, pushing past them as they stared at you bewildered as to exactly what was happening, honestly, you couldn’t tell them even if you did know. You quickly approached Dualscar, panting softly as your body collided with his, your arms wrapping around his neck so you could hug him tightly, never wanting to let him go again. You missed him too much, he was here with you now, you weren’t going to lose him a second time.
>It's loud and the way people are screaming is starting to hurt you head. You focus on him and see him stare. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. Maybe you shouldn't have come here. You can't stop the thoughts that were racing through your head.
