Apologies for our hiatus, we've had some technical difficulties in getting the zine together, but hopefully it will be out by TDOR (November 20th). In the meantime, you can donate to the fundraising page here, which will be open until the end of the year and all proceeds will go to the Trevor Project. So hey, I got into a zine a while back, and we’ve just been given the go ahead to post previews for our pieces if we’re done. I got to draw a character that means a lot to me, Nitori Shuuichi from Hourou Musuko, and decided to try drawing her post series, figuring about 5 years on HRT. I’ll explain in a more complete way when I’m able to post the full piece. @trans-nb-zine Should be released on September 21st. Be sure to follow them if you would be interested in a zine based around canonically trans and non-binary characters. It’s free, but in place of payment, the mods ask that you donate to The Trevor Project if you are able to.

Does our portfolio writing have to be about the character we wish to write about? I'm not sure what character I would want to write about if I end up applying.
It does not need to, we just need to get a sense of your writing style.Â

Hi, just wondering what sort of writing will you be wanting? I've looked through the blog and I can't see, would it be a piece of fiction involving the character, or a summary of the character?
It would be a piece involving the character! There is really no other criteria, authors are allowed to write whatever they would like about that character (within reason, like no nsfw things)
