I Won’t Save You

Fanart for the amazing game Transistor by Supergiant games. While listening to the soundtrack the lines “I wont save you” from one of the songs really spoke to me. An interesting way to look at Red and her actions in the game. (not going too deep into it so not to spoil anything)

Pretty pleased with how this turned out, pretty much managed to do what I wanted to with the idea I had, so thats pretty cool :D

headcanon:

asher has severe anxiety about meeting people face to face. he can communicate through writing, private messages, and any other medium that you can think of that doesnt involve face to face communication. when he became a reporter he knew he’d have to either ‘get over it’ (hahah) or find something to help him.

so he got a cat. it’s his therapy animal. it keeps him grounded and able to focus and avoid panicking.

Fun idea: instead of taking the easy way out, the Kendrells get Processed and kick the pixels out of you while also being kind of creepy and pitiable but in a good, memorable way ala Sybil. Yeah I really liked Sybil that much so I decided to draw Asher like her, sort of. I just referenced his little profile picture so you can blame all the badness on me and my headcanon. I think I might be more proud of the CatCell than I am the rest of the picture though whoops.

Headcanon: Sybil acts like a lady in public but is actually a huge spoiled brat and whenever she doesn’t get what she wants she stomps her feet and puffs out her cheeks and clenches her fists before storming off.

Asher is her confidant and 90% of their conversations are Sybil throwing a huge tantrum while he quietly sips his tea and waits for her to finish.
