Lomochrome Purple 35mm film shot with Minolta SR-T 101, May of 2022, (Part Two), Powell Butte, Portland, Oregon.

Unlike Kodak Aerochrome which is infrared sensitive film, Lomochrome Purple is basically using a chemical substrate to perform an analog version of green/red channel swap like you could do in Photoshop, but it does it in a way that preserves skin tones pretty good.

Lomochrome Purple 35mm Film shot with Minolta SR-T 101 , back in May of 2022 (Part One). Lomochrome Purple is supposed to emulate the look of Kodak Aerochrome film but it isn’t quite the same as what I’ve seen from those who’ve used it. Lomochrome Purple is pretty grainy, my focus was off on a lot of these because I wasn’t wearing corrective lenses and the camera is too old to have a diopter in the viewfinder. Powell Butte, Portland, Oregon - my first time using a Holga 120N medium format camera. While it’s difficult to know for certain what you’re framing or if you’re even focusing on something at all, it’s still very fun. (Well, the first photo is obviously not from Powell Butte, but it was the very first photo on the roll of 120 film I took immediately leaving Pro Photo Supply down in Slabtown.)
