Obtaining physical copies of Kikuo-P's albums, a tutorial!

To the overseas fans of Kikuo, hello!

You may not know who I am, but you may have met me under the anonymous name of “Mr.P”, when I posted an older version of this tutorial under anon on the kikuo-music tumblr blog a couple months ago. I took the liberty to come off anon and repost this tutorial I built on my own blog (with some updates), and I’m pleased to meet you!

I finally compiled this tutorial together with some new links and further explanations, so…

Please spread the word and support Kikuo by buying his works!

In this tutorial I’ll be explaining how to get past the commercial barriers of importation from the great country of Japan to obtain our favorite Vocalo-P’s albums.

Notes before beginning:

_this tutorial only addresses those who desire to obtain PHYSICAL CD COPIES of Kikuo’s albums. I compiled a list of links leading to digital buying spots of Kikuo’s albums at the end of this post.

_I live in Europe, and as a matter of fact, the postal service of my country almost lost the package I had ordered because of an address problem. It was not the fault of the japanese service I used to order, but be careful! Be extremely clear and precise in the information you give and if you have the possibility, TRACK DOWN YOUR PACKAGE using the tracking number. It can avoid you losing your precious goods!

_Thanks to the method I am going to explain, I was able to acquire Kikuo’s ‘KikuoMiku’, 'KikuoMiku2’ and 'KikuoMiku3’ albums, but actually, this tutorial addresses pretty much anyone who is looking to import physical goods from Japan especially from sites that don’t ship overseas, it should work for other items than VocaloP albums! (ie games, artbooks, books, mangas, music albums, DVDs, action figures, fandom merch, doujins etc etc etc…) The only difference in the end will be the price.

_It is technically possible to obtain the Kikuo albums via other ways than this, but after investigating, this is the CHEAPEST mean I could figure out. If anyone has an other, even cheaper/faster mean of buying the Kikuos, please feel free to contribute!

_Prices are listed in JPY. Please use a currency converter to know the equivalents, I can’t speak for everyone because my own currency was EURO.
