Flash Fire
“Y-you’re not going to help me…??” Poor Felicia was about to cry. She just wanted to light some nice scented candles for Corrin but she ended up setting a bouquet of flower aflame. She gave Setsuna a puppy dog pout unconsciously. Gods Lord Xander would never let her cook again! Jacob would not let her down! She had to figure out a way to put it out.
Shaking her head was the short answer, the long answer being a resoundingly bored, “Nooo…”
Mind you, she wasn’t refusing wasn’t out of cruelty or because she wanted to watch the world (table?) burn. She just thought it was exciting to see a fire in a castle for once in her life. As she stared into the flames engulfing everything in its path, she thought to herself, This is pretty… interesting.
A faint smile appeared on her face. So distracted by the flames, she failed to notice Felicia’s frantic puppy dog eyes until the flames had spread to a wooden bowl of mashed potatoes.
“Oh,” she said. “So you need help?”
She sighed and walked toward the fire, not flinching when it crackled angrily. No, all she did was grab a glass pitcher of water and then slowly amble back to Felicia. She handed it to her.
“Here you go.”
After all, Setsuna had no intention of actually doing anything herself. That would be too much effort.
