I have become Cyan, Jelly Lover

I recently made a commander deck with Cynette, Jelly Drover as the commander, but I was calling her 'Cyan, Jelly Lover' instead of the real name. (Because I am stupid)

and then I found out there were no Jellyfish tokens. So, I had planned to make tokens using a printer, with this

but then, while stuck in mandatory training at work, I started drawing to pass the time (it was all review, and the current section didn't apply to me as I don't drive the propane trucks)

so I decided to start making a bunch of tokens to keep myself occupied. I made quite a few, and started giving them personalities and names.

And then flavour text.

And now I am attached to my deck and my tokens.

I have become Cyan, Jelly Lover.

So I colored them, gave them their names and personalities, and sleeved them.

the first I finished, being Ol' Warrior.

Ol' Warrior: (Gender: Old Color: Pale Red)

Veteran of 7 wars, Ol' Warrior is mostly done fighting, and just wants cuddles from Cyan (Cynette) and his pain meds.

and after thinking it over for a while...

I headcanon that this is him, in Cynette's arms. And that my tokens are how she views them, while everyone else just sees normal jellyfish.

anyway, I love my new commander deck and will probably post more photos of the jellies I make

(also now I'm mad they aren't real because I genuinely want to cuddle my tokens now)

Nubby: (Gender: Menace Color: Pink)

A gremlin. She can't sting with her small tentacles (A birth defect she is secretly embarrassed about, but is too proud to admit), but she desperately wants too. Craves destruction, but is content with cuddles for now. (Even if she denies that she likes them.)

Nubby is easily my favorite to use for attacking, because she would 10000000% just tackle a bitch since she can't sting with her nub tentacles

Lovecraft: (Gender: Male Color: Pitch Black)

Named himself Lovecraft because HP Lovecraft would hate a black jellyfish with his name. Keeps summoning something he swears isn't Cthulhu.

tbh this is just I colored him in with a pen and couldn't think of a good name, and almost laughed in training imagining omega-racist HP Lovecraft 's reaction to a black character named after him

Me: "Oh yeah, I named the black one after you!"

HP Lovecraft's barely revived corpse: "AKFNEKX SKANOS NADCDA"

Me: "Times change, old man."

Cracky (Gender: No one's been brave enough to find out. Color: Blue and Orange)

Don't worry, they're three years sober. Going strong! They were going to change their name, but kept it after Cyan (Cynette) said it was cute.

And in case it's hard to tell, the symbol on Cracky is a poorly drawn sobriety coin!

(also on an unrelated note I kept getting teary eyed looking up sobriety coin references because I saw a 42 year coin a son found in his deceased father's sock drawer and it just made me emotional)
