Sum 41 called fans far and wide to be a part of their new music video for “Goddamn I’m Dead Again” off their album 13 Voices. And the fans delivered!

Does anybody else recall Sum 41 doing a music video in a skate park with a bunch of people? Ah yes, the classic “Fat Lip”. That’s what I love about this video, it’s a modern “Fat Lip” music video. Whereas the 2001 hit had everyone looking straight out of the nineties (everyone knows the nineties didn’t end until 2005), the people are now in current fashion. And the band are not kids anymore, but they still rock and pop punk is very much still alive.

You’ll get Paramore’s new track “Told You So” stuck in your head for days! The song falls right in line with “Hard Times”, with a new funky eighties pop sound. “Told You So” also features a pinch of electronica as well.

In the song’s video, Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and Zac Farro are beatniks, dressed head to toe in red. Hayley is alone, and jumps in front of the car with Taylor and Zac in it. She then joins the boys and goes to discover the world. 

Paramore’s album After Laughter is now available through Atlantic Recording.

In One Direction, Harry Styles was known for writing songs with a hint of folk rock (see “If I Could Fly” from Made In The A.M. and “Fool’s Gold” from Four). Harry Styles’ “Sweet Creature” falls right in line.

The song is the second prereleased track from Harry’s solo debut Harry Styles. It’s about a couple facing difficulties in their relationship, but finding comfort in each other. Everyone’s asking who the song is about, but who really cares actually? It’s a beautiful, sweet, and enchanting song.

A lavish colorful wedding is the setting for the video for Bleacher’s “Don’t Take The Money”. A lavish colorful doomed wedding in the backyard of a New Jersey home, that is. It stars Bleachers’ frontman Jack Antonoff and Arrested Development’s Alia Shawkat and is directed by Girls’ star and Jack’s significant other Lena Dunham. 

The video opens with Jack and Alia sharing a few words before the wedding. Alia says it’s not a good idea, Jack just wants her blessing. The song and the wedding begins. Then things go totally astray. I love the video because it’s so detailed, every time you watch you see something new.

“Don’t Take The Money” is Bleachers’ lead single for their album Gone Now available June 2.

Nicki Minaj is a beautiful siren in her video for “Regret In Your Tears”. As she pulls away from a man in her bed, she retreats to the woods to a pond with a broken-down pickup and men in jeans and converse swimming around. This is her retreat, where she goes to make sense of her water-laden world.

The video was originally exclusively available on Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service. Now Vevo has it streaming through YouTube.

Prior to the release of Motionless In White’s album Graveyard Shift, the band had one last thing to say. And that was their track “Rats”. The song was released just days before the album, and gives listeners one last preview before the show. 

The song is grungy and sprinkled with just the right amount of synthetics. It’s a perfect mix of Chris Motionless’ growls and vocals. The album is sure to be pure perfection.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. At least the moment I’ve been waiting for. Pvris is back with new music!

White Noise was a brilliant debut album. There was no voice in the scene quite like Lynn Gunn’s. The band’s visuals and ghostly motifs hearkened back to the days of My Chemical Romance. And the band’s commitment to the art of their music was inspiring and unmatched. 

The only downside of White Noise was that it was only ten songs. Now Pvris have announced their second album All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell which will drop August 4. The album will share White Noise’s dark themes, but will feature a more mature sound. 

The first single is called “Heaven”. The song’s video features the trio solemnly moving about a beautiful mansion until dark figures kill them in the end. The song is absolutely fantastic and follows up their debut perfectly; I can’t wait to hear more!

All Time Low’s most recent single “Life Of The Party” may be their biggest departure from their classic pop punk sound yet. However, it is still distinctly ATL. 

Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat have always been know as party animals. However, they are now in their late twenties, are five albums deep in an extremely popular band, and are playing stadiums and massive tours instead of Warped Tour of yesteryear. Alex Gaskarth is now married, and Jack Barakat co-owns two bars in Baltimore and LA. They’re not kids anymore. “Life Of The Party” is their response to maturing and facing that party life they’re so known for. 

The song is a good song, it’s just doesn’t sound like an All Time Low song. Their sound is changing, just like the boys are. Alex’s poetic lyrics are still present and the All Time Low attitude is still there, but it sounds less garage and more engineered, with effects and synths. 

I loved “Last Young Renegade”. After a few listens I liked “Dirty Laundry”. I’m still currently coming to terms with “Life Of The Party”.

Prepare for a little bit of shock the first time you listen to Fall Out Boy’s “Young And Menace”. It’s not the Fall Out Boy of From Under The Cork Tree or Infinity On High. It’s unlike any Fall Out Boy you’ve ever heard before. 

FOB incorporate EDM-inspired electronic beats in the chorus of the song. Guitars aren’t as distinct and gritty as on previous Fall Out Boy records. This song is sure to alienate some fans, but Fall Out Boy is experimenting in areas they are interested in, and Pete Wentz’s lyrics are still there and Patrick Stump’s voice sounds as strong as ever.

“Let You Go” is a Machine Gun Kelly song unlike any other. The rapper raps the verses, sings the choruses, and plays guitar throughout the song. There’s no featured guest vocalist on the loop as in his last singles “Bad Things” and “At My Best”.

Katy Perry is no stranger to innuendos and double meanings. Her last single “Chained To The Rhythm” is a song about political complacency disguised as a catchy pop song. 

Katy’s newest single “Bon Appetit” featuring Migos takes innuendo in another, more sexual, direction. The chorus includes the line, “I’m spread like a buffet,” with the singer saying, “And it’s okay/If you take your time/Eat with your hands, fine/I’m on the menu,” in the first verse. The second verse Katy sings, “Well I’m open 24/Wanna keep you satisfied/Customer’s always right/Hope you got some room/For the world’s best cherry pie.” This entire song is dripping in cherry-flavored double entendres.

“6/8″ is a Blink 182 song unlike any other. That’s because it’s written in 6/8 time, and no other Blink song is written in this time signature. It’s also a bit more aggressive than the other songs off the deluxe version of California, out May 19. The deluxe edition contains eleven brand new songs, basically an entire record! A preorder comes with four songs: “Parking Lot”, “Misery”, “Can’t Get You More Pregnant” and now “6/8″.

There’s no gimmicks or moving couches in Pentatonix’s latest video for their cover of Elvis Presley’s 1961 hit “Can’t Help Falling In Love”. The song is available off their latest EP, PTX Vol. IV - Classics, along with covers of “Jolene”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and “Imagine”. The video just contains lovely people with lovely voices singing a lonely song that’ll leave you with tears silently streaming down your cheek.
