Early morning.
I am mine before I am anyone else’s.
I wish I could explain to you the other day. It was beyond words. I am yet to write about it. So beautiful. Full of everything that I want.

The origin of yoga, an KMT ( ancient Egypt) Yoga Dancer (1292-1186 BC)
HI HI. So, this is the first Trap Yogi post. This is a big deal. I should probably introduce myself though, right? I am Emma, this is my baby. The idea came to me first when I got fired from Lululemon. I was the only black girl working in the store in my city...and I felt a way. Like, shitty. I love yoga, I love pilates, I'm a huge fan of barre work too. And talking about this stuff! And telling people what they should wear to do this stuff! And they were like "it aint nothin to cut that bitch off" it just seems that you aren't a good fit. It doesn't help that I was also about 60 lbs larger, and have natural hair.... Antywayz. My love for fitness and health didn't die. In fact, it has GROWN. I'm buying books, taking classes, getting my flex on! And basically just doing all this stuff on my own. I'm always the only black girl in the room, feeling a bit out of place and still doing my thing. But this idea kept festering in my mind..... SO Trap Yogi was born. This will be where I chronicle my own journey as a baby yogi, discuss books I've read that you can't find reviews on everywhere else, review classes I take (especially the free ones AYYYY), tell ya'll 'bout my travels and thangs and generally move this dope. Fuck Wit Me. Namaste. etc. EMMA
