This was frustration and not quite knowing how to get rid of it. ( don’t flatter yourself. ) It wasn’t something she needed to offer an explanation for, not something she felt was weak on her part. It was something she fucking wanted, somewhere, as fucked up as it was.
Wanted it because Chloe was a damn challenge, wanted it because Chloe never failed to piss her off. Wanted it because she was TIRED of not feeling things – and call them shit substitutes, but lust and anger got her blood hot like no other. ( can you tell, chloe? )
She was more than sure she could – and she doesn’t care, doesn’t care as the other tugs her just as close, doesn’t care even as Chloe bites her lip hard enough to draw blood. If that was what Chloe wanted, she could’ve cared less. ( fine. get your damned blood high. ) She pushes up, pushes forward, tearing her lip further only to bite Chloe’s in turn, nails dig dig digging into the skin at her waist. ( did chloe even bleed? what did that taste like? )
the sting of teeth against her lip, however mild, is enough to draw out a growl. low, rough and hot. it carves its way up chloe’s throat and vibrates against durren’s mouth. it’s not that chloe can necessarily feel much of the pain. but she understands the intent.
irritated by their difference in height - and how hard it is to keep their mouths connected without having to bend - chloe reaches down with both hands and grips at thighs. without even a grunt of exertion, chloe lifts her companion off her feet and guides her legs around her waist.
the process breaks their kiss, which allows chloe to look the other in the eye when she smirks. there’s fresh blood on her lips and it’s definitely not hers. chloe makes a show of drawing her lower lip between her teeth and licking it clean. since durren’s currently at her mercy, she wants to infuriate her with that fact.
