Dahlia Hawthorne/Calisto Yew interaction but in the specific scenario where Dahlia was actually indicted for Valerie's murder while Calisto got away with Byrne's murder and kept being a lawyer.

Dahlia: So, you actually are going to take my case? You should know miss Yew, the prosecutor has some quite hard evidence against dear old me. I heard they're considering the death penalty. It will be a tough trial.

Calisto: Believe me, miss Hawthorne, you'll find no lawyer more capable than me at getting my client off the hook, no matter how guilty they are. Trust me, I'm speaking from experience here.

Dahlia: ...experience as a lawyer or as a guilty party?

Calisto: Yes.

Case 6-4 was the most filler case out of all cases in the AA series. And that's not even what I hate about it, it was a cool case and that's what pisses me off about it. Why did it have to be a trial only case??? Were the devs afraid there was nothing they could with Athena in the investigation part since her gimmick is only used in trials?? Like come on man, I get the plot of the game is about Khura'in so you didn't want to waste too much time with the cases in the States, but you did a fantastic job with 6-2, why couldn't you put the same effort with 6-4???

Ga'ran might not be the deepest character or villain in ace attorney, but I've gotta give her credit for:

-getting away with her crime for 23 years

-tricking her kingdom into believing she can channel spirits for just as long

-having the biggest kill count if we count deaths caused by the unjust trials her laws created

-being cunty as hell

I'm not even halfway done with Spirit of Justice, but the Khura'inese names have left me with my head in my hands for a good chunk of my playthrough, let me tell you.

It's not even that I hate name puns or names that are plays on words (if I did I would've abandoned the series at like, game 1), but holy shit. I heard the localization team had problems specifically adapting Khura'inese names for some reasons and yeah, I can see that.

One thing that I mainly love about AAI2 (besides, you know, all the other million things I love about it) is how it never fails to slap me in the face by reminding that it's the game that expanded on Gregory Edgeworth last case! You know, the case that basically caused to whole fucking series as a whole to happen?*

It's still so fucking baffling to be hit every once in a while with the notion that yeah, all that shit that happened in the mainline games? All the main characters that were directly and indirectly affected over time? It's because of two of the contenders for the title of Worst-Piece-Of-Shit-Father-Ever in the series and one fangirl of a fake french man.

Genuinely so wild to me that the devs decided to expand such a crucial element of the mainline games in the fucking spin off. That alone baffles me more than the circumstances of the actual case.

It makes the fact that none of the characters that only appeared in the AAI collection ever got to be in the main series so more confusing and insulting to me. I'm not necessarily hoping for a new Ace Attorney game but if it is a possibility, I beg of you Capcom, bring some of them back! You had no problem exploring elements of the main series in the spin-off, hell you did a great job with it! Why don't you give it a try again, but in the opposite direction?

*I have neither played or seen playthroughs of the Great Attorney series, so if it has an even earlier butterfly effect than the IS-7 Incident, I was unaware of it.

ACTUALLY YOU KNOW WHAT? I FORGOT THAT VON KARMA'S ONLY PENALTY WAS A RESULT OF EXCELSIUS SABOTAGING HIM ON PURPOSE JUST AS A SHOW OF POWER! MOTHERFUCKER KNEW ALL ALONG ABOUT VON KARMA FORGING EVIDENCE, HE DECIDED TO FUCK HIM OVER THIS TIME FOR THE LOLS!

And yeah while IS-7 was the main catalyst for, well, everything that followed, Gregory's death only happened because Excelsius decided to do his fucking job for once in his life. And it was only for a petty show of power. Man.

Spoilers for AA5 dlc case I guess?

Does putting Orla on trial make sense if it was a way for Simon to get the proof out of the defense because he'd already figured out the culprit was human (specifically Sasha)? Yes.

Is it more hilarious to think Simon accepted the case for the lols and somehow stumbled into an actual murder trial? Also yes.

Wow, I didn't expect to like the Turnabout Reclaimed so much. I can see why I saw some people call it the better version of Turnabout Big Top. Really good stuff!

Just remembered that at one point towards the end, to give Miles time to find the evidence to frame Simon, Kay just, starts making fun of him by mimicking his voice to distract him? And somehow it works??

I can imagine Simon figured out immediately what she was doing and just played along cause he was confident they couldn't catch him either way, but it's so much funnier to think he was actually that pissed off at her imitations that he just stopped paying attention at the guy currently trying to get his ass for murder.

Master manipulator gets successfully ragebaited by a teenager into jail. What a silly guy.

Of all tomodachi ltd moments I've been witness to, not a single one even comes close to the time RTGame created a Sigmund Freud mii, which he then introduced to all (and I mean all) his other miis...

Only to later create one literally called Momii, which Freud immediately fell in love with upon introduction.

Holy shit did Jax's torture part give me the ibbie jibbies. Like yeah lots of moments did affect me emotionally, but tbh the horror part of the show never hit for me, I guess due to how cartoon-y everything is. But good god I felt my skin CRAWL!

Also, if Caine is dead dead (which I think he is) and the one theory I have been considering turns out to be true, I already know what the last scene of the show is gonna be and oh boy, it's gonna be a lot!
