Kopachi Kindergarten, located around a couple of kilometres from the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Following the disaster, the village was evacuated and almost all of the buildings were knocked down and buried as an experiment. The kindergarten is one of the only buildings left. Burying the buildings drove radio-toxins deeper into the environment. The soil and water that surround Kopachi remain contaminated with radioactive materials.
