Apple picking is a relatively cheap and fun activity to do with friends or family. And of course eating the fruits of your labor is a plus too (pun intended). Why not stop by Martin’s orchard in Stockholm?

Beautiful isn’t it? Camping or even spending a day at Lake Meacham is a wonderful idea. Located near Paul Smiths University, one will not be disappointed with the campsites or beach area that this spectacular campground has to offer. Hands down it is my favorite place in the Adirondacks.

Can’t go very far but still want to get out in nature? Ives Park is a hop, skip, and jump away from your backyard. There is a boat launch if you want to kayak or canoe. You can also just hang out and walk with your friends along the water and bask in the extensive number of seagulls and geese right at your fingertips. Just be careful not to get too close!

Who says mountain climbing is all about the view? Our hike to the top of White Face was nothing but goofy photos and good memories. White Face is a short high peak in the Adirondacks, perfect for anyone wanting to dip their toes in the realm of completing the 46 high peaks!
