Hi! I’m Uninspired Fantasy Writer, and here’s my list of races!
Elves who are all blonde-haired and blue-eyed and unquestionably superior to everyone
Shifty Traders from the Desert with a weird accent
Huge, inherently threatening green-or-black orcs (who are also the only race with dreadlocks but nevermind that)
Incredibly greedy and money-obsessed Dwarves who lost their Homeland or otherwise have large numbers of their race in diaspora
Humans, but all based on Romanticized depictions of European cultures
and my favourite: The Matriarchy that’s pure fucking evil and full of backstabbing!
This tea as so much depth of flavor. I love it.
deep tea.
Valentine's Promise
He told me last night, I could go to Mexico-- to escape, to be free--but only for a week, because he will miss me, and that's not exactly what he was hoping for.
2/14/19 - "After January's Electric Bill: A Comment on Late Capitalism"
i want to open a book store that is 24 hours and people can finally go out at like 2am and be like “i just finished the first book in the series i need the next one stat” or if people are just having a stressful night and want to be surrounded by books
My favorite part about this post is that someone understands that it’s calming to be surrounded by books
a book nightclub.
read responsibly.
Someone make this happen pls.

Lost in the middle of nowhere,
we have piles of priceless antiques,
but very few folks
to tell their story
in fanciful keywords
& proper lighting.
2/9/2019 - I feel this so hard. Watch out for my Jesus year, bitches.

Good morning brightness.
Hope.
Turn the screens all the way up.
The light is refracting
infinitely outside.
Morning magic magnified.
Stillness solidified.
me: capitalism bad
them: business insider says it isn't so you're wrong actually. learn how to use google next time babe.
2/5/2019 - "The Medicine of Modernity: A True Story"- Hornbrook, California
I wish I were lying. I wish it weren't true, but where once a mighty river connected with a fertile creek, lived a people we may never meet.
They had their traditions, and a complete culture. They had a medicine man, who took care of his people. They had a land and a way of living, on top of gold on the banks of salmon filled waters.
But now, on that spot, we have a bar, filled with smoke, and video poker, with the hides of bears and the heads of elk decorating the wall. Here the staff of that medicine man hangs, on a mirror carved with naked ladies, above a glass shelf of liquor bottles and Betty Boop memorbilia. It was given to her father, she said. She doesn't know much about it. Our modern medicine woman pours a thick shot into heavy bottomed shot glass. Thanks, ma'am. This too will go down in history. If we can remember.

"Oh progress," you say.

You're just building
the things
That get in the way."
January, 18th 2019 -- "Out with the Old, In with the New"
There is so many things dated about this photo, the trailer, the graphic, the idea of a Cavalier weilding a sword and conquering a green space.
I cringe.
...And "by Cobra," no less.
I feel like that a lot. Looking at a crumbling travel trailer as it tells me, "feminists just hate men," squeaking it's screen door to let me in. "We've all been oppressed by now," it continues between the broken windows, and wires dangling from it's ceiling, "haven't we gotten over this yet?" My face contorts against my will as I decide if I need to deal with this heaping pile of trash. It is in my yard, after all...
My husband takes bags and bags of garbage out that trailer on the regular; he uses a shovel and sorts outs the recyclables into sturdy plastic buckets. He's been at it for weeks, with the paitence of kindergarten teacher.
Me? I can no longer stand the effort.
in the end
in the end every end is just a new beginning
in the end every beginning is the start of an end
in the end it’s what you make of it and not what you take from it
in the end will you close the door or leave it opened?
in the end are you changed? or are you just the same person
you always were…
THIS.
January 17, 2019. "To All the Parties I Ever Drugged: Morning's Golden Hour"
Hornbrook, California, USA.
....
The hole we are starting in is deep & muddy, walls craved with stubby fingernails from clawing at its slick confines.
Perhaps the fate of thoughtless pioneers, rotting modernity on the banks of a creek once filled with gold.
"129 YEARS: THE HISTORY IN THE FLOOR"
We pulled up the piss stained beige carpet to reveal charismatic hardwood floors. With history layered in paint and pockmarks on it's hand hewn surfaces, she tells us tales of a mistakes to come.
sometimes you’re just in the mood to not see any white people and i think that’s valid
