Cookie is my camp name. I am a Civil War Cook for my unit the 7th Kansas Calvary Red Legs. I started doing this in 2012 and I was hooked from the start. I have had the pleasure of being at part of the Biggest Battle in History the battle of Gettysburg. I had the most memorable time there and it is something I will never forget as long as I live. The Battle of Gettysburg was the Bloodiest battle on U.S. soil. My brother and I joined the 1st Tennessee in Gettysburg we were their guest. We were able to walk in the footsteps of those men who fought there and lost their lives on the Battlefield. My Lt. named 3 people to go and represent our unit and he looked at me and said Cookie I want you and handles and Griz. It was unfortunate our brother Griz was not able to make it but we went and represented all of our unit. Many see Gettysburg as a Civil War but there were many other people involved it was more a world war. There were many other countries involved here. We had the honor of having 3 men from Belgium fighting with us. we made new friends and lived a piece of history. The 150th Anniversary was the Ultimate Experience and something I will never forget.

The Rabbit Fest happens this time every year in Copperas Cove Texas. Many vendors come from all over to take part in this festival. They have BBQ and Funnel Cakes and Corn Dogs along with Fireworks and all kinds of other vendors. Many people come from all around to go to the Rabbit Fest.

Spent some time in Williamsville New York at the Irishman Pub and Eatery. It was pretty busy and they had the 26 Shirts crew out there selling T-shirts,Hats, and all kinds of goodies.
